Overcoming the EMI Lawsuit and being able to release This Is War despite the odds. That itself, and the fact the album was still released alongside the documentary Artifact makes it better.

EMI disbanded after the lawsuit.note Despite what this wording may imply, the lawsuit wasn't the reason why EMI dissolved; the label had been suffering from financial mismanagement for decades, and by the 2010's they had reached a point where they weren't reasonably able to recoup the tremendous losses they had suffered.
