Go To

Volume 1

  • Link sees King Bulblin holding Colin and Ilia. He proceeds to jump up and stab him, then backflip off. Not bad for a guy who was broken down with guilt for having accidentally sent his home village into the Twilight Realm a few minutes prior.

Volume 2

  • After Ook (the forest dungeon miniboss) has dragged a comatose wolf Link around to gloat to his monkeys, Midna tells him Link's back is her spot, and delivers a Megaton Punch. With her hair.
  • The Diababa boss fight: a still-possessed Ook lures Link towards the giant plant, which swallows him. Despite the poisonous gas and darkness, he grabs its eyestalk and ends up slashing his way out.

Volume 4

  • During the Bulblin attack on Telma's wagon, two approach her and Ilia. One asks if it's the old lady they're after, the other says it's the girl, Telm is so enraged at the Ma'am Shock she clonks the Bulblin's head with a bucket.
  • It turns out Midna's hair-hand is able to stop a rolling Goron in its tracks.
  • Despite being a small child, Luda follows Link into the Goron Mines to save her friend, who was turned into Fyrus. She even manages to distract him long enough for Link to shoot the monster’s crown and break the curse.

Volume 6

  • Ashei puts the sword skills the game credited to her to good use, slashing her way through two Darkhammers (there’s only one in the game, and for good reason).

Volume 7

  • Once Link and Midna enter the Temple of Time, they are treated to a vision of past events—namely, the events of Ocarina of Time. The two witness the Hero of Time's fateful duel against Ganondorf in the future, with the two of them crossing blades.

Volume 9

  • After decisively winning their final fight, Link shuts Zant up mid-Motive Rant by grabbing him and punching him in the face, not bothering to use the Master Sword on him again.

Volume 10

  • As in the game, Ganondorf takes over Zelda’s body and tries to force her to kill Link. This time, however, she fights back from the inside, nearly pulling off a Heroic Sacrifice before Midna arrives to drag out Ganondorf’s spirit.

Volume 11

  • In the final battle, Link is not alone against Ganondorf. The Hero’s Shade manifests right alongside him, ready to give his old enemy the proper send-off. Ganondorf's broken composure is the icing on the cake.
  • After a long exchange, Link finally runs Ganondorf through on the Master Sword. Unfazed, Ganondorf promises that he will return and deactivates his Triforce of Power, ending his current life on his own terms.
  • Having completed his Heel–Face Turn, King Bulblin fights Ganondorf's forces to the death. Ilia finds his body riddled with his weapons, and yet he is still smiling.
