  • Episode 1 "No Need for Discussions!", Katsuhito taking down the mech suit belonging to the "space pirate", note  with nothing more than a wooden katana.
  • Episode 2 "No Need for Princess", Ayeka rushing to the rescue the moment her ship picks up Mihoshi's distress signal. Also counts as a heartwarming moment for the princess.
    • Subverted when she plans to leave without Mihoshi the moment she learns Ryoko is also on Earth.
  • Episode 4 "No Need for Monsters", Washu's awakening. She easily repels all of Ryoko's attacks, she even transformed Ryoko and Ayeka by rearranging their DNA.
  • Episode 5 "No Need for Partners". Washu's idea of remodeling the Masaki's bathroom is connecting the interior to a different dimension, making it Bigger on the Inside.
  • Episode 10, "No Need for an Arch Rival". Nagi's introduction into the series, which has her easily disarm several hardened criminals in only a few seconds.
  • Episode 14, "No Need for a Rebellion". Tenchi, his father, grandfather, Washu and Ryo-Ohki storming the Juraian battleship.
    • The group escapes the Juraian battleship by Washu ordering Ryo-Ohki to transform into her ship form, while still "inside" the battleship.
  • Episode 15, "No Need for an Escape", the gang rescuing Kiyone by smashing the wall of the Galaxy Police station with their ships' escape hatch.
  • Episode 22 "No Need for Knights", the revival of Knight!Azaka and Knight!Kamidake.
  • Episode 23 "No Need for Karma", the moment when Katsuhito/Yosho and Kagato finally confront each other. Katsuhito even fought very well for most of their duel, until he ran out of energy.
    • For Kagato, the fact that he was able to easily beat Ryoko when she came to help Katsuhito.
Kagato: Your fun to play with, but I'm very busy just now. Get lost! (sends Ryoko flying with a burst of dark energy)
  • Episode 24 "No Need for Ryoko", Nagi and Ken-Ohki arriving to save the gang from a fleet of Juraian battleships.
    • Later, Ken-Ohki posing as a double of Ryo-Ohki in order to fool the armada of ships blockading planet Jurai.
    • Ryoko's determination in getting past the Jurai blockade.
Ryoko: (as she guides Ryo-Ohki) Get out of my way!
  • Episode 25 "No Need for a Showdown", Knight!Azaka and Knight!Kamidake duel with Kagato's two corrupt knights.
    • Tenchi unlocking sword Tenchi's power and unleashing it on Kagato, finishing their duel with one deadly blow.
  • The Love Triangle's transformation sequence in Tenchi Muyo! In Love. It is probably the only time in pretty much the entire franchise that all three participants engage in the rescue mission (usually one of them is missing, due to either being the person to be rescued, or being temporarily incapacitated to join). Christopher Franke's music highlights it.
  • Everything from Achika awakening to see Kain torturing Nobuyuki, to her breaking free, to her reunion with Nobuyuki, to her accessing her Juraian powers in Tenchi Muyo! In Love.
  • The Big Damn Heroes moment when Achika and Nobuyuki are about to be absorbed into Kain, then Tenchi slashes his face, while Ayeka grabs Nobuyuki out of range.

  • Music
    • Sonia singing both the English and Japanese version of the opening.
    • Christopher Franke's score for Tenchi Muyo In Love. Special mention to his "Achika" theme and the heroic composition that plays whenever Tenchi becomes Extremely Protective Child.
    • Tenchi Forever! features music by Frédéric Chopin. In all, Chopin's preludes Op. 24 Nos. 3, 4, and 17 and his Etudes Op. 10 Nos. 3 and 9 are used. The music fits in well with the more downbeat tone of the film.
