Unmarked spoilers below.
- The first episode's battle (no sorry, rock paper scissors match) between Suika and Yuugi. The two of them slice mountains in half and destroy the ground with their punches, all while Kasen just laughs it off, and is the only one in the surrounding area who isn't panicking.
- Before the fight begins, Kasen arrives to get Suika and Yuugi to stop. Instead of just continuing anyway, the two of them actually stop to try to convince Kasen to let them. Yep, the leader of the bandits herself decided to stop and take the time to get permission from one of her subordinates (who reminder is a child by this point) instead of just ordering her to shut up.
- During Kasen and Yoshika's first meeting, Kasen attempts to escape by calling one of her eagles and begins to fly away. Yoshika refuses to let her opportunity at becoming a hermit pass her by, so she, a regular human, overpowers an oni and her pet giant eagle by tackling them out of the air with her bare hands and tying Kasen to a tree, all just so that she can get down and beg for hermit training.
- Yoshika makes Kasen have a Heel Realization and change her ways by accident.
- After Yoshika gets rejected by the reikon, Seiga tells her that she has no hope left, but Yoshika won't have any of that and tells her directly that she's wrong.
- The entire Kasen vs. Suika fight. Suika has the upper hand during most of it, but Kasen gives her a run for her money all leading up to the final blow. Some highlights:
- Near the start of the fight, Kasen breaks free of Suika's grip by summoning some of her pets, starting with her snake arriving to knock Suika away (said snake becomes relevant again two bullets from now), her tiger pinning Suika down, and then Kasen, suspended in the air with her eagle and dragon, has her raijuu create a stream of electricity around her dragon that ends with it firing a bolt of energy at Suika. Suika follows up by growing to massive size and just swatting Kasen and her pets out of the air.
- For all of Suika's failed attempts at Break Them by Talking, it's Kasen who manages to deliver an Armor-Piercing Question by asking Suika about the circumstances of when she became an oni, and this leaves Suika frozen in shock for long enough for Kasen to summon her dragon to attack and release herself from Suika's grip.
- After Suika manages to disable Kasen's replacement right arm and prepares to continue her No-Holds-Barred Beatdown, she finds that she cannot aim properly. Turns out that Kasen got some of the same sake from the day the oni bandits were defeated and swapped out Suika's gourd with one filled with said sake when the snake attacked. Kasen's plan got screwed up and she drank some of the poisoned sake too, but she still manages to put up a pretty good fight, as the next few points will attest to.
- After Suika begins to get the upper hand again and attempts Break Them by Talking, Kasen delivers a "No More Holding Back" Speech to cement why she will never break her promise with Yoshika, which Suika follows up on by punching her into the air and attempting to talk down on Kasen's philosophy again. Suika then finds herself trapped in bandages from Kasen's arm, and the latter begins to fly towards Suika with an Unnecessary Combat Roll that gets the most animation out of anything in the otherwise mostly-motionless Film Comic. Cue Shut Up, Hannibal!.Suika: "That wholehearted sentiment of yours will one day kill you!"
Kasen: "You! [powering up a Megaton Punch] SHOULD GIVE UP!" - After this, Suika manages to break free and then both combatants punch each other in the face at the same time. Cue giant explosion that creates a huge crater in the ground, but with a large trail created in the direction Kasen punched Suika, who are both lying at the end of said trail with Kasen lying on top of Suika. Although Kasen has fallen unconscious, it's pretty clear who won the fight, especially as Suika then admits that she envies Kasen's determination and ability to not lose hope after so many years.
