• When Maud's evil boss (who has been talking down to her all the time and is shown to rape at least one 12-year-old employee, and may have done the same to Maud when she was that age) tries to molest her while she's ironing, she puts the hot iron on his hand, burning him. The man is so utterly detestable that this is a very satisfying moment.
• "What are you going to do, lock us all up? We're in every home. We're half the human race. You can't stop us all."
