- From the first episode of series 7, this winning couple picked the top prize of £3,000, and uncovered a HOT SPOT in each of their first two picks (they couldn't win the top prize if they went over their Hot Spot limit, two in this case). The fact that this is listed under Moment of Awesome should tell you how it all turned out.
- This winning couple from 1992 goes down the middle row nearly all the way for £3,000...AND THEY WON!! The only time they didn't go down the middle was in column five, in which they went down to the bottom—and guess what they got.note
- The first show of Series 9 (the first series after the ITV winnings cap was abolished) had the winning couple go for the jackpot of £5,000...with NO Hot Spots hit!
- What had intended to be the show's final episode also ended this way...a £3,000 victory with no Hot Spots.
- The end game of the 1997 charity special had the winning couple hit a HOT SPOT on their first three picks, which would normally count as an automatic loss (as they were playing for £10,000 and could only uncover two Hot Spots), but host Michael Barrymore decided to let them continue anyways, even after they uncovered more Hot Sports. Ultimately, they uncovered SIX Hot Sports, but Barrymore still decided to award them the £10,000.
