• The settlers deciding by vote to stand against the Hellborn despite knowing they have no chance.
• Cade's rebellion, including a influencing a former bandit and rapist to ride through bullets to save some children.
• Clem Steiner's refusal to die.
• Shannow using Lucas to take the Sarento who became the Bloodstone back to the 20th Century just like he wanted. Right back to a couple of minutes before the Trinity A-bomb test detonates.
• Cade refusing to go along with Saul's rhetoric and killing his assasins even as they fill him with lead.
• Parmenion winning the mock battle with a single hail mary attack
• Kicking the Spartans out of Thebes
• In the alternative universe Parmenion and the Spartans managing to mount an effective resistance to Philip despite him being able to see the future.
• Parmenion standing beside Leonidas and the original 300 Spartans in the afterlife to protect the soul of the about-to-be-born Alexander from the Demon Prince Kadmilos. Crosses over with Heartwarming Moment, because after years of being rejected in Sparta for being part-Macedonian Parmenion finds that the greatest of all Spartan kings fully accepts him and considers him a brother in arms:
  Leonidas: Come stand beside me, brother, and we will show the demons how Spartans do battle.
