  • Soloing Crota's End. For the unaware, this raid is intended to be difficult for a fireteam of six. Made even more awesome because he did it without abusing the common exploits and shortcuts that many players use to make the task easier.
  • Being featured in Bungie's Year One highlight video no less than eight times.
  • Getting Name Dropped by Bungie consistently. It's clear the developers love the content he produces and the passion he has for their game.
  • His "Won't Be Beat" match of Free-For-All PvP.
  • His "Sum of All Tears" match is also incredible. In this game, he won a Free-For-All match in 2 minutes and 42 seconds, and was awarded the Sum of All Tears medal for scoring more kills than the other 5 players combined.
  • Being part of the second team that completed the Vault of Glass raid and the third team to complete the Crota's End raid.
  • Helping DeeJ, Bungie's Community Manager, through the Vault of Glass raid.
  • Any of his Flawless Trials of Osiris videos. For the unaware, this is the playlist meant for the highest skill PvP players in Destiny. This means he and his team went up against the best the game could offer and they won 9 games without losing 1.
  • His No Gun PvP Challenge where he and his team won a PvP match without firing a single shot.
  • Any of the Raid Challenges. These involve him placing constraints upon his team in order to make a run more difficult or humourous. In chronological order:
    • Vault of Glass - Bad Exotics: Complete the raid with, at the time, only the worst weapons of the Exotic Tier.
    • Crota's End - The Pit: Kill Crota, the end boss, without leaving the lowest area of the map which happens to be teeming with enemies.
    • Crota's End - Flawless Raider: Complete the raid without anyone dying.
    • Crota's End - Fist of Havoc: Kill Crota using the Fist of Havoc ability to make him kneel, thus making him vulnerable to damage.
    • Crota's End - Traverse the Pit Melee Only: Complete the first stage of the raid without using any weapons, grenades, or super abilities.
    • Crota's End - Shotguns: Kill Crota only using shotgun to make him kneel. This is much harder than it sounds as Crota wields a giant sword that kills players in a single hit.
    • Crota's End - Green Weapons Only: In honor of St. Patrick's Day, complete the raid while only using weapons of the Uncommon tier which are color-coded green. For comparison, the majority of players can only complete raids using Legendary and Exotic tier weapons.
    • Crota's End - Necrochasm Only: The only weapon allowed was the Necrochasm, a weapon known to be difficult to obtain, but not very effective. He has later admitted that this wasn't as difficult as many people expected.
    • Crota's End - Button Reassignment: Complete the raid having swapped the button assignments on their controllers.
    • Crota's End - Last Word Hip Fire Only: Complete the raid only using the Last Word hand-cannon without aiming down the sights.
    • Crota's End - Blindfolded: Complete the raid while he was blindfolded, forcing the rest of his team to guide him through the activities. As if this wasn't enough, he also insisted on being the Swordbearer, the only player capable of damaging the boss's health. Many consider this to be the Moment of Awesome for both him and his teammates. Must be seen to be believed.
    • Vault of Glass - Shotgun Templar: Kill the Templar Boss using only shotguns. Considering the poor range of Destiny's shotguns, and that the Templar is a giant alien robot, it's harder than it sounds.
    • Crota's End - Fusion Rifles Only: Complete the raid only using the fusion rifle weapon class. Also, no jumping was allowed.
    • Crota's End - No Gun So Fun Run: Complete the raid without using any guns. Only grenades, melees, and super abilities allowed.
    • Vault of Glass/Crota's End - Vestian Dynasty: Kill the Templar, Atheon, and Crota bosses while only using the Vestian Dynasty Sidearm. Slightly averted as the gun was new, but not weak enough to pose much of a challenge in using.
    • Prison of Elders - Shoulder Charge Skolas: Kill Skolas, the end boss with only melee attacks, specifically the Shoulder Charge melee.
    • Prison of Elders - Necrochasm Only: Kill Skolas while only using the Necrochasm Auto-Rifle.
    • Prison of Elders - Grenades Only: Kill Skolas with only grenades, melees, and limited use of super abilities.
    • Death from Above "Hero Mode" Challenges: Kill various raid bosses with only the Fist of Havoc super ability with the Death from Above talent selected.
    • Crota's End - Ricochet Rounds: Complete the raid only damaging enemies with bullet ricochets.
    • Crota's End - Khvostov: Kill Crota using the Khvostov 7G-02 Auto Rifle. This is the first gun obtained in the tutorial for the game. An attempt to kill Atheon, the end boss of the Vault of Glass, was also made. However, the gun is simply too weak to work within the mechanics of the fight, so the challenge was scrapped.
    • Prison of Elders - Elder Cipher Weapons: Kill Skolas only using the trophy weapons obtained from the Prison of Elders itself. Harder than it sounds, as only one of the three is considered competitive with weapons of its rarity tier and one can be considered almost useless.
    • Prison of Elders - No Killing Adds: Kill Skolas without killing any of the smaller enemies in the encounter (except the Servitors as they must be killed as part of the mechanics of the fight).
  • In the most recent D2 raid, Vow of the Disciple, The Destiny 2 stream count on twitch that day was around 300k. Datto the entire time held 1/3 of that total amount ranging around 120-160k viewers during his stream. And while he didn’t make world first he did come in second by only 3 minutes which made his fireteam neck and neck for the win. Even after all these years compared to speed runners and high end players he and his team are still top level contenders.
