To put this into perspective: Konata is threatening a girl who single-handedly kills Eldritch Abominations and carries the equivalent of the firepower of the entire Japanese Self-Defense Forces.
- In spite of which, she is not going to let any demon monks hurt the person her friend likes. She tells Homura she's going to protect her, and charges at them.
- Aya's Heroic Sacrifice to save the others from Duilio's demonic crows, despite it being both a Tear Jerker and Nightmare Fuel, if only because of the sheer courage she needed to pull up to step up against them.
