Awesome / Space Cowboys

• The opening flashback is impressive from an acting and dubbing standpoint; not only did they find actors who could credibly pass as the younger versions of the main cast, but the dubbing is so spot on you feel like you're seeing younger versions of Clint Eastwood and Tommy Lee Jones.
• Watching Frank laying out the terms of his deal with Gerson.
  Frank: Clock's ticking, Bob. And I'm only getting older.
• All the NASA folks, even Roger and Ethan are quite impressed with Frank and Hawk's ability to take G-forces in the centrifuge.
• Hawk in a Technician vs. Performer moment manages to "land" the "Space Shuttle" in the simulator, after the computer is disabled (he requested onboard computer failure so he could do it manually). Everyone else is left speechless.
  Hawk: Flying brick... I like that.
• "We're gonna shoot this baby to the moon!"
  • Later, we find out just before the end credits that he did indeed make it to the moon.
• When Team Daedalus eats in the cafeteria, the younger astronauts send them Ensure. After showing up Ethan and Roger in the simulator, Team Daedalus sends them baby food and children's books.
