- Zoe courageously jumps into the nightly fray in time to save a trapped Rue.
- Cassidy, after days or weeks of training together in the Club, accuses Undine of hiding something about the death of Team Alchemical and depowering of Tessa (adding that the rest of the Club thinks this too) and demands explanations. Undine's answer?Undine: ... You know... Under other circumstances, I might have. We might have even agreed that it was my fault. ... But honestly, now I feel like... I don't owe that explanation to someone I don't even know.
- Bud stepping in to stop Cassidy's attack on Undine by annihilating one of her clones.
- Cassidy, after the fight with Undine, the rest of the team and even HP, goes off alone. She fights a group of cat monsters skilfully, manages to get out of the hands of the Purple One, then, when both her clones are vaporized, one clone manages to finish off the monster that did it before dissipating, and the other, realizing she only has seconds left to live, uses that time to stab the Purple One in the eye before dissolving.
- In fact, Cassidy's dying moments were so awesome, the alt text comments on it despite usually disappearing when the Purple One is onscreen.
- Undine stands up to the rest of the club and demands they stop fighting after the reveal of Goops throws them in disarray. She realizes infighting is what destroyed Team Alchemical and refuses to allow that to happen again.
- Mingxing, right after losing an arm, burns out the rest of her magic to use her Super-Speed to get a nearly frozen to death Kokoro to a hospital quickly. Based on the small smile she gives Kokoro as the hospital finds her, she decided it was Worth It.
- Chapter 18, while otherwise a Nightmare Fuel/Tear Jerker filled chapter, expands on Cassidy's Dying Moment of Awesome by showing that the damage she inflicted on Goops was permanent (or at least long-lasting): Goops is still missing her eye, and honestly that whole side of her body seems to be affected in some way.
- Chapter 19: Kokoro finally meets Goops face-to-face. The very first thing she does after confirming the latter's identity is throw a punch so hard, it BREAKS THE INNER BARRIER. Thankfully she only hits the ground, but given that it's something that is stated in-universe to take some time to do...
- The source of the Innter Barrier is revealed: Anemone, who apparently creates and maintains the barrier every single night! When Tessa-Goops has a monster shoot her with a spear, Anemone reacts by ripping out the spear and disintegrate the monster with no difficulty.
