Amara's artwork is consistently very impressive for her age, to the point that she outshines her older sister. In fact, Amara's intelligence in general is very impressive.
The fact that Amara keeps a cooler head when trapped in the car than Raina, to the point that when Raina starts complaining about her Walkman dying, Amara snaps back that they have bigger worries like if their mom will come back. It's enough to get Raina to stop ranting and actually talk to her sister. She also calls out Raina on being so preoccupied with listening to her Walkman all the time to the point of escapism, so much so that she hasn't even noticed their parents' marriage failing right before them.
