  • Moment of Awesome: Harry fighting off and defeating a god.
    • If Harry makes it to the fight against the true final boss with no ammo of any kind, the sheer heroic display of shiny brass balls on Harry's part makes God commit suicide in terror of the man. Well, that might be the reason it happens.
    • Kaufmann's sudden appearance before the very same battle (in the good endings).
    • Better yet, Harry's not even a character that is psychologically haunted by Silent Hill. Hunted by the cult and disturbed by the truth of what his reborn daughter really is, perhaps, but all implications were that he kicked a god's ass and was not broken for it, and this very Eldritch Location itself let him be for having the unshakeable determination to save his daughter no matter what. Though an alternate interpretation is that he defeated the very essence of the town, even if only temporarily, so it couldn't do anything to him - at least, not until seventeen years later.
  • Awesome Music:
    • Akira Yamaoka's scores run from hauntingly beautiful to OH MY GOD MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOP.
    • On that same note, this HOLY CRAP MAKE IT STOP song from Shattered Memories, 'The Devil's Laughter.'
    • The exception to this is SH1's soundtrack, which wasn't done by Yamaoka alone. It was done by the Konami Kukeiha Club. Doesn't stop the music from being any less awesome.
    • The Shattered Memories trailer music is a cover of 'Always on my Mind'. An awesome cover that is also played during certain parts of the game.
    • The opening and closing theme songs, especially those created by the holy trinity of Yamaoka/Romersa/McGlynn.
  • A Real Life Crowning Moment of Awesome was people discovering the last name of Harry's voice actor through an interview in 2018; finally putting to rest the myth and mystery of who his voice actor was.
    • In short, his last name was shortened from Guinn to G so it would be easier for people to pronounce at the time. He later went on to voice several other notable characters (and before Harry he voiced Dracula) before eventually retiring from voice acting.
