• Kikuhiko's performance in Episode 6. After having struggled for the entire series up to this point, seeing him finally find his niche in Rakugo is a true sight to behold.
• In episode 9, when Kikuhiko is being interviewed by a critic after Sukeroku's expulsion, the critic begins to suck up to Kiku and badmouths Sukeroku's performance, deriding it as simply riding off of audience momentum. Kiku then immediately tells him to leave with one of the most badass one-liners ever:
  Kikuhiko: I will not speak to those who don't understand performance.
