  • The end of the necromancer fight in Session 2 - Canna had just been downed by one of the mage's traps. Darek revived her, and she... played dead. The necromancer fell for it, and for that got two brutal attacks to the face, quickly ending his life. Say it with Canna: "EXECUTED!"
  • Session 3: After killing a group of kobolds attacking a village, Canna and Serriah chased after a lone survivor that was fleeing. Eventually they found him, and Serriah took a shot. The kobold was at such a distance that it would've been almost impossible for the archer to hit... so naturally she crit the roll and killed him. Truly jaw-dropping, even if it turned out to be a bad idea in hindsight.
  • In Session 4, the party fought a rooftop battle against a number of assassins that gave them trouble. Eventually one was left, and decided to try and run away - but Canna and Serriah wouldn't have it. Both of them crit their attacks on the fleeing assassin and killed him.
    • Oh, and that's the setup. The payoff came when they arrived at a drug lord's base, and another assassin decided to snipe at the party from a tree. Canna's answer can be summed up as, "Look, I have an axe; why don't I just chop the damn tree down?" Not only did this work, but it left the assassin as easy prey for Zelas, allowing them to finish the assassin off very fast. Darek puts it best in his journal: "My sister's a crazy badass sometimes."
  • The DM pulled off a very evil trick in Session 10 - one that deserves applause, especially for how it was sprung on the party. Anyone who knows 4th edition D&D well enough can guess what happened from these two words: Bugbear Strangler.
MechaGM: You're going to charge and attack [the bugbear]?
    Freek: Yes.
MechaGM: I am now going to tell you the worst news you have ever heard.
    Freek: Oh fuck.
MechaGM: As you attempt to stab it while Dahlia is in her garotte, she whips her in front between you and her. Body Shield! You make your attack against Dahlia!
    Freek: ... I don't wanna! I'm gonna kill her if I do!
  • One scene in Session 17 features quite possibly some of the best roleplaying in the entire campaign thus far. It involves Xellia - or more specifically, Xellia disguised as Canna and manipulating Zelas even after he realises what's going on. And "Canna"/Xellia is played by RolloT, who absolutely nails the part, the entire time. It's both disturbing and impressive.
  • Session 19:
    • During their second encounter in the hag cave, Zelas inflicts exactly the right amount of damage on the two remaining Troglodyte Maulers to take down each of them and end the fight. As FinalFreek puts it, he’s “very precise.”
ArcLight: He doesn’t need “overkill, he just needs “kill.”
    • Canna uses an Overwhelming Strike to do 46 HP of damage to a fleeing Troglodyte Impaler in the party’s third encounter. She also collects three souls for Sten over the course of the session, spending one to heal herself.
    • Serriah takes down five minions at once at the start of their fourth encounter by using a Biting Swarm attack with Shiverstrike Arrows, effectively saving Zelas and Canna from being mobbed.
  • Rollo T manages to break the party's record for the most damage done with a single attack in Session 20. Turns out, when Canna crits on an encounter power, it's possible for her to land 60 damage. (And keep in mind that this is in heroic tier!)
  • So, how often do you use a daily power, miss, use a hero point to reroll it, miss again, and still manage to defeat a bad guy with it? YROT pulls this off in Session 23, using the effect of Warweaver's Tether (pushing the target) to knock Kiel Ralhausen into one of his portals, seemingly destroying him.
