Call of Cthulhu

    open/close all folders
     "The Dare" (2022)
  • The protagonists, who are a bunch of adolescents mind you, manage to bring down the witch as well as her bug-infested minion. The fact that they did so despite the fact that Seth had gone full Darker and Edgier with the campaign is a sign of their creativity.

The Two Headed Serpent campaign (2018-2019)
  • The fact Seth and the player characters managed to complete the massive campaign from beginning to end that took an entire year to complete as well as nine twenty-minute videos to document.
  • A Nightgaunt has taken J.J. and thrown him from the plane. Jane's solution? Make a piloting check at extreme difficulty and CATCH him with the plane.
  • J.J. and Boba's plan for fighting the Lloigor: J.J. drives and Boba shoots at them. Seth declared it the best combat of the whole campaign.
  • The player characters successfully save the world by blowing up the Serpent Men compound with themselves inside it. However, due to the nature of Pulp Cthulhu rules, they actually managed to save half the party via Luck Points.

     "The Idol of Thoth" (2019)
  • The PCs continually thwart the ticking clock nature of the scenario and force Seth to work as a Keeper in order to come up with excuses as to why they should leave the museum by thinking outside the box.
    • Specifically, much of the game is about the PCs missing the evil ceremony due to driving all over Massachusetts. Instead, the PCs just use the museum's phone to gather most of the information they need.
    • They also manage to capture one of the conspirators when they're supposed to run away from an encounter and instead slow down to grab him.
  • Subverted by the PCs stopping the Big Bad in a epic fight. The problem being the fight is with a middle-aged woman who still almost kills them all.

     "The Mansion of Madness" (2018)
  • The player characters make a point to burn the house of their opponent to the ground to make sure that they get every last one of his insectoid progenies. Also, to wipe out as much remnant of the twisted adventure as possible. A sign that the events had really gotten to them.

     "The Dagger of Thoth" (2018)
  • The protagonists make a funny joke about how the fact the police actually avert Police Are Useless by capturing the robber of an auction of Egyptian artifacts well before the PCs can.
  • The PCs proceed to head all the way to Egypt to help one of their own being driven insane despite being a three-week voyage.
  • The PCs have a big dungeon crawl where they deal with hordes of scarabs, ghouls, a mummy, and other horrors inside the tomb of Nyarlathotep.
  • The climax of the adventure has them confront Nyarlathotep himself. Seth Skorkowsky says the adventure allows it to be killed by an NPC using the Dagger but says no Keeper should allow that to happen versus the PC.

"The Darkness Beneath the Hill" (2017)

  • The PCs go into a massive serpent man city underneath Providence, Rhode Island and rescue their friend who has been kidnapped.
  • The PCs may attempt to reveal the Mythos to the rest of the world. This results in a number of possibilities like their friend blowing up the tunnels himself or the federal government wiping out the Serpent Man settlement like the The Shadow over Innsmouth. Another option is a Serpent Man sorcerer floods the city rather than let their secret come out.

     "Waiting for the Hurricane" (2017)
  • Seth Skorkowsky adding a cool drain drop effect to the "camera" that's "recording" Jack the NPC in a black and white background of Florida during a hurricane. It's a really memorable moment for his videos.
  • There's a boat chase to rescue some sacrificial victims involving thrown dynamite by the cultists. It's also during a hurricane.
  • If the PCs fail to catch up with the boat, Seth suggests creating a tidal wave created by a passing Star Spawn of Cthulhu. It is a very cinematic and scary addition.
  • The PCs entered the ceremony to save the sacrifices by shooting the Deep One Elder in the head.
  • The player characters are able to thwart a plan by the Esoteric Order of Dagon to create a Wave of Oblivion spell that will destroy all of Key West, Florida.

     "Blackwater Creek" (2017)
  • The player characters successfully destroyed the avatar of Shub Niggurath. This is notably before they actually work to deal with the corrupted monster-infested town or figure out what is going on.
  • Seth did an Updated Re Release of the module in 2023 to include Jack the NPC and other elements he'd become famous for because he was so fond of the adventure.

Cyberpunk 2022

     "Open Highway" (2019)
  • The player characters have been hired to get ambushed by their employers and yet they manage to deliver the cargo despite it being meant to be hijacked. The executives are so annoyed by the fact the players had a shootout with their foes around them that they hired them to go after the bandits who botched the job. Double their payday.

Dungeons and Dragons

     "For Thor!" (2020)
  • The fact the barbarian is THAT dedicated to his deity that he spends all of his gold as well as devotes ten days of his life to preaching about Thor to his blacksmith friend shows that Real Men Love Thor.
  • The fact Thor was genuinely impressed by his follower and chose to welcome him personally to Valhalla with the +1 shield on his back, even calling it his favorite shield.

     "The Bonesaw" (2018)
  • It's always impressive and memorable to get a natural 20 on using a vorpal sword but the way the player character casually walked up to the Fire Giant before decapitating it almost justifies the intelligent sword's reaction.

KULT: Divinity Lost

    "Atrocity Exhibition" (2022)
  • Seth suggested for the final act that Vauquelin takes five Wounds after the player characters successfully overcome the Five Purgatories, leaving him to still be challenging, but more manageable for the players to defeat.
