Episode 1: "Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life"

  • One of the only things that Gideon is able to find out about Scott is that he is a very good fighter.
    Matthew Patel: Combat?
Gideon: He is described as, quote, "the best fighter in the province." Unquote.
  • Wallace telling Scott that he should break up with Knives before pursuing Ramona, telling Scott that what he is doing is wrong and reminding him that Knives is a good girl who doesn't deserve such trouble.
  • Scott's REVERSAL! of Matthew Patel's sudden attack.
  • Scott's casual treatment of Matthew despite being challenged. He is mostly inconvenienced. Furthermore, when the fight happens, Scott charges at Matthew with a Grin of Audacity that shows his confidence as the most badass fighter in the province.
  • The Wham Shot showing Matthew defeating Scott and turning him into coins. It's a proof that this anime will be very different than previous iterations of Scott Pilgrim.

Episode 2: "A League of Their Own"
  • Matthew Patel shows just how much stronger and more confident he is than previous incarnations by challenging Gideon to a fight for everything the latter owns and winning.
  • Envy Adams manages to hijack Scott's funeral by singing her own version of "I Will Remember You" as a way to flex her musical career. During the whole song, almost everyone attending the funeral is cheering for her and follows her outside of the funeral service.
  • The ending of the episode has Ramona having a dream and hearing Scott's voice. She then wakes up and realizes that Scott's alive.

Episode 3: "Ramona Rents a Video"
  • What's the first thing that Ramona does after figuring out Scott is alive? She starts a one-woman search party to find out where he is.
  • Why did Kim and Scott start dating? When they were fourteen, she got kidnapped by a rival school, and he fought them all to rescue her.
  • Ramona and Roxie have a tear-up fight through several gorgeous set-pieces as they bounce between movies.
    • The end of the fight has Ramona apologizing to Roxie for leaving her so callously. After various iterations of Ramona brushing off her past relationships, this is the first time Ramona acknowledges that she didn't end her relationships in a moral manner. Not only did she undergo Character Development in her fight with Roxie, but she also manages to give Roxie the closure that she needed.

    Episode 4: "Whatever"
  • Lucas Lee's skateboarding tricks at the beginning of the episode.
  • Wallace manages to heckle his way into the Scott Pilgrim movie by insulting the actor portraying him. Soon enough, Wallace is allowed to portray himself in the movie.
  • Once Lucas reads the script, he gives a Take That! to the ending of Scott Pilgrim and Ramona's character, calling out Ramona on her personality flaws.
  • Lucas fighting against the paparazzi, acting like a One-Man Army against them.

    Episode 5: "Lights. Camera. Sparks?!"
  • Ramona becomes a Stunt Double to get back in the movie studio to investigate Todd Ingram.
  • How does Wallace stop Todd and Envy from delaying the movie with their aggressive make-out sessions? He convinces the director to change the scene to have him kiss Todd. Not only does Wallace continue the movie, he also gets to kiss a celebrity and screw over Envy in a single move.
    • The kiss is more impressive for how it affects Envy and Todd. Remember that, seemingly even in spite of him not being as tolerant of Scott as he was in the comic and the movie, Wallace still hates Envy for breaking Scott's heart, so he gets to avenge Scott by sabotaging her relationship with Todd. Likewise, Todd was a serial cheater, so watching him get heartbroken by Wallace's rejection is fitting considering his infidelity.
  • Wallace and Envy get into a fight over Wallace "breaking" Todd. What follows is a Stunt Double fight.
    • Before Wallace summons his stunt doubles, Envy reminds everyone how strong she actually is by sending Wallace's arm chair with him on it flying with a single kick. There's the implication he turned it into a stunt double fight because he knew he had no chance to beat her in a fight and she was out for blood.
    • Wallace gets to have more stunt doubles than Envy despite being a secondary character with no fight scenes because he apparently got a good lawyer.
    • For her part, Ramona shows up how much better she is as a fighter as she dominates Wallace's doubles.
  • Whoever kidnapped Scott is actually a stronger vegan than Todd, as Envy points out that the portal used to kidnap Scott is much better than the ones that Todd created.
  • How does Matthew make his return after defeating Gideon and becoming a CEO? He arrives by helicopter, backflips on top of it without getting sliced by the blades, and then fires everyone working at the movie.
    • Knives and Stephen then impress Matthew with their offer of blowing his mind. He asks them to give him a call and throws them a calling card made of real gold to contact him.

    Episode 6: "WHODIDIT"
  • Julie being ready to beat the crap out of Gideon and Lucas for destroying her house despite being a random citizen and them being two formidable fighters. You can tell that Julie will not tolerate people messing with her.
    • Ramona stops Julie from pummeling Gideon and Lucas Lee and tells them to get their acts together.
      • For Lucas, she tells him to not be narrow minded and to take a job.
      • For Gideon, she tells him to treat Julie better than he treated her. This causes Gideon to feel guilty.
  • Knives and Stephen manage to turn the Scott Pilgrim movie into a musical.
    • Props to Knives learning to play the piano in about four hours to make the songs.
  • Knives and Stephen getting Matthew to accept the idea of promoting the musical by proposing that he plays the protagonist role of Scott Pilgrim. Since Matthew was an aspiring Broadway actor, he accepts right away.
  • Ramona telling Scott's friends who stole Scott. It was the robot created by the Twins.
    • Props to the Twins making their vegan robot that much stronger than Todd as it has more power than a human vegan but none of the weaknesses.
  • The ending ends with Scott returning out of nowhere. Him revealing that it was him who was responsible for his disappearance ends the episode in a dramatic manner.

    Episode 7: " 2 Scott 2 Pilgrim"
  • The start of the episode reveals that it was an older version of Scott who kidnapped Scott, he takes him to the future.
  • Old Wallace is revealed to be married to a man working at Nintendo.
  • The Twins managed to easily create time travel by using their old robot and making him simultaneously in every moment of existence. Even Old Wallace points out that the future didn't have that technology until Old Scott explains how they got it.
  • Old Ramona's first scene has her pummeling Scott and Old Wallace, believing them to be enemies in her house. It shows that she still had her fighting skills.
  • It is revealed that Young Neil did write the story of Scott and Ramona's life. While Ramona did create the script, she was mainly a ghostwriter who translated Old Young Neil's book into a screenplay.
  • Scott is able to return to the present when Old Ramona uses DeLorean skates to travel back in time when she reaches 88 miles per hour. Looks like Old Scott wasn't the only one who unlocked time travel.
  • What's the first thing that Scott does when meeting Knives? He admits that he cheated on her with Ramona. And he also acknowledges that dating her when she was a 17 year old high schooler and he was a 22 year old adult was morally wrong.
  • Upon finding out that there is a force field preventing them from kissing, Scott and Ramona theorize that they must fight the Evil Exes to unlock the force field. Knives, however, uses the premiere of the Scott Pilgrim musical to get Scott to fight the Evil Exes in the same place. The chapter ends with Scott, Ramona, and their friends attending the premiere, ready to have a final battle with the League of Evil Exes.

Episode 8: "The World Vs Scott Pilgrim"
  • Granted, it comes as an Anti-Climax at Scott's expenses, but all of the Evil Exes moved on from their obsession with Ramona, preferring to focus on their own problems instead.
    • During their introduction, Lucas is once again bothered by paparazzi. This causes Roxie to slice them into coins with her sword.
  • After being mocked for his poor Broadway career, Matthew proves that he is worthy of being a Broadway actor by singing the Scott Pilgrim musical. Pretty much the entire spectators, with the exception of Scott, loved it.
    • This becomes more apparent when Matthew receives applause at the end of the show. By the epilogue, he already won 27 Tony Awards with the musical.
      • Matthew's applause is earned because he was interrupted by an explosion before he could sing the final verse and came back after being defeated by Even Older Scott. Despite the sudden events, Matthew still had enough time to finish the musical without missing a beat and even ordered his hipster demon girls to defuse the bomb.
  • Props to Gideon for sneaking a bunch of explosives into the stage to get revenge on Matthew. If it weren't for Even Older Scott sending him and everyone to the future and Gideon bragging about it to Matthew, he would have gotten away with it.
  • The final battle against Old Scott as Scott, Ramona, their friends, and the Evil Exes join efforts to defeat him.
    • Even Older Scott shows just how strong Scott could be if he actually trained himself to fight for ten years. Nothing Scott, Ramona, the Evil Exes, or the others throw at him can stop Even Older Scott. Not even opponents Scott had to trick to beat in the original timeline, like Lucas Lee and Todd, could hurt him. It goes to show Scott truly is the strongest fighter in Toronto and his potential strength.
  • Ramona merges with Even Older Ramona to create Super Ramona. She sends Even Older Scott back to the future with a finger snap and then breaks the anti kiss field by kissing through it, barely bothered by the interference.
    • The Big Damn Kiss between Scott and Ramona counts as this and heartwarming after all they went through to be together.
