• Hands down, the most amazing theme music ever.

• In "Card Sharps", Lamont gets duped by a bunch of card sharks that pretend to be his friends. Fred, experienced in this sort of thing, attempts to tell Lamont that he's being screwed out of his money. Finally out of money, Lamont gives up. Fred innocently asks if he can play with them. One Gilligan Cut later, and Fred has not only completely cleaned them out, he's done it by cheating better than they could.

• In “The Big Party” Aunt Esther and her church group chased away two gangsters (who were armed no less) with her their purses and indirectly came to Fred and Lamont’s rescue.

• Lamont's speech in "Mama's Baby, Papa's Maybe". Also counts as a Heartwarming Moment.
  • Esther attempting an Enemy Mine with Fred in the same episode. She didn't even wait for his answer. She was going to beat Grip to a pulp with or without Fred's help had Lamont not intervened.
  • Also, Esther's word was sufficient for him to affirm Grip was wrong and Lamont is truly his son.

• The 4th season episode "Golden Boy" saw Fred get roped into managing a supposed up and coming boxer named "Junior" Joe Louis. And when this so-called "can't miss" prospect punches an unwary (and unwilling) Lamont in the stomach during an impromptu sparring session, Fred gets in the ring, distracts Louis ("Look at that! There's a glazed donut!") and uppercuts Louis off his feet.
