DROP. LIKE. FLIES.

GET. PSYCHED.

A game all about Bullet Time, making you feel like you're in the fuckin' Matrix? So many moments of awesome. So. Many. The sheer NUMBER of awesome moments in the game make John Wick look like goddamn Krombopulos Michael.

SUPERHOT

  • What your actions inevitably become when played back in real time.
  • Getting right up in an enemy's face and narrowly weaving between their bullets as you try to get within punching range, punching them, stealing their gun, and then shooting them right back can be intense.
  • Slicing bullets in half with the Katana feels amazing to pull off, to put it bluntly.
  • After several attempts at a level, clearing it without getting hit feels like a major victory.

SUPERHOT VR

  • The Gun Kata required to clear harder levels feels downright awesome to execute in VR.
  • You can literally snatch guns out of enemies' hands. As in, just grab 'em. No need for stunning.
  • Using throwable weapons is such an amazing feeling, especially when using things like shurikens.
  • During an office complex stage, you're suddenly in an elevator with two mooks pointing guns at your head, a third guy directly in front of you. It's entirely possible to snatch both guns out of the mooks' hands, kill the third dude, and then kill the other two all in one swift motion.
  • Several parts of the story have enemies firing at you all at once, leaving very little room to dodge to the side. Dodging beneath, however, is a viable option. If you didn't immediately do what everyone thinks of doing in a situation like this, you're lying.
  • Dual wielding submachine guns and raining down hell upon those beneath you is a simply impeccable feeling.
  • The ability to pop people's heads with a simple gesture is not only an absolutely badass spectacle, but also a viable option when in a pinch.

SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE

  • Katanas don't just slice bullets in half. They DEFLECT them, allowing a well-timed use of the Katana to return bullets directly to their senders, blowing their brains out in the process.
  • The charge move is a GODSEND. Just when the enemy thinks they have the upper hand on you, with bullets too close for comfort, you run up to them, PHASE through the bullets, and punch them in face. Combined with the turbo-buffed Katana, the charge becomes an unstoppable weapon to use against your glass foes. In addition, a charged Katana attack will slice the partially white enemies (who normally are impervious to attacks aside from their obvious red weak points) in HALF!
  • The SUPTHROW hack allows you to maximize your usage of throwables, making them so much more fun to use. The flat objects stand out in particular, with you throwing the item at the enemy, and watching them crumble as your item comes whizzing straight back to your hand. It feels amazing to pull off.
  • The SUPPUNCH hack gives your fists a damage boost and deflection properties like the katana. Your punches are so powerful that killing one enemy makes everyone around them recoil. Combined with lightning reflexes, you'll feel like Saitama as you hop around the battlefield punching bullets and knocking out enemies left and right.
  • The Disco level, particularly for its music. Killing enemies as the beat kicks in feels like something straight out of Hotline Miami.
  • The Railgun, a new weapon added to MIND CONTROL DELETE, is the fastest firing gun in the game, and can easily take out enemies much more consistently than the other firearms. It's a great weapon to utilize when dishing out glass punishment to your foes.
    • If you get killreload.hack, it's even better, because the huge reload time is negated, giving you three free kills.
