Volume 1

Episode 1

  • Inglis realizes that Rahl, the traveling merchant's son, is cheating during his sparring matches with the knights, via a spell that slows down their reaction time when looking directly at Rahl. Inglis realizes she could use her incredible control over aether to just nullify the spell entirely... and instead decides to take the more interesting Logical Weakness route by literally fighting Rahl with her eyes closed. She manages to intercept and block every one of Rahl's attacks since he's a young amateur without his crutch, and lands a "lethal" blow on Rahl's back that knocks him to his knees and forces him to admit defeat.

Episode 2

  • To show off just how incredible Inglis's capabilities are already at age 12, she successfully goes up against Eris for several minutes. On the face of it, the latter is a Hieral Menace, a super-human weapon that's vaunted as the best of Highland's Magitek, yet Inglis, a mortal woman with past life knowledge and the favor of Goddess Alistia, can match her just fine with a normal sword until it breaks. And all this while both are not taking the fight at their most serious.
