  • The titular Seeds get one for their whole species in "Seeds of the Dusk." They're plants. They can't move, can only spread by dispersing their spores. The only thing they can do is release organic material. Their enemies, the "cruel children of Man," the Itorloo, are the Master Race of the whole Earth, and have decided to exterminate all life on the already-dying planet with a planet-wide lethal field, just to deny it to their successors when they leave to conquer Venus. What do they do? They not only wipe out the Itorloo (and only the Itorloo) with a tailored plague (saving both all Earthlife and the Venusians) but also re-terraform the Earth by building a gigantic canal system which, as we can see from "The Eternal Wall," succeeds in preserving the planet from its seemingly-inevitable dessication, making it possible for the glorious civilization of the Prairie Dog People to rise from the Itorloo ruins. The Seeds are The Cavalry in floral form!
  • Also from "Seeds of the Dusk," Kaw. When he's betrayed by the Itorloo, he struggles through the barren wastelands of the oxygen and water-poor highlands of the dying Earth and happily aids the Seeds in getting his own personal revenge on their whole species. That is one tough little crow!
