• In the second edition framing fiction for the Tammuz, a mine boss describes how Clay, a Tammuz working for him without his understanding of Clay's supernatural nature, rescued the entire shift he was with when all the generators went down and the air pumps stopped working. He did this by climbing the elevator cable with his bare hands and with one of his shift-mates slung over his shoulders. Not just once, but repeatedly, going back and forth with one passenger at a time, until he'd lifted every last one of them to safety.
