This won't be the last time he risks his life for someone he's just met.

  • The openings of both the original and W Happiness are eye-watering to watch each time.
  • The game managing to depict Catholic Schoolgirls Rule in a realistic and heartwarming way, without making it too explicit. It even manages to avert Anime Catholicism by depicting the religion in a very respectful and positive light.
  • Masaya managing to beat back the Yakuza whenever they threaten any of the Vincennes girls, whether it's by outwitting them, fighting back, or Taking the Bullet for any one of the girls.
    • The first time, he decides to take a punch for Rise, as shown in the page image. He then confronts them directly, and, with the help of the cat he showed kindness to, manages to force them into fleeing before the police can arrest them for violating private property.
    • The second time, he manages to disarm Kiyoshi, the underling, by accidentally hitting the latter's groin while trying to get his missing lottery ticket from cat that stole it in the prologue. And all of this was perfectly caught on camera courtesy of Tamie.
    • The third time, he manages to save Ayaka, whom he only met a few days prior, by simply sneaking out of the old apartment she was being held, all the while the Yakuza boss was still narrating his life's story to her.
    • In Rise's route, he punches Kiyoshi across the room after the Yakuza goon begins ransacking his class' cafe at the Culture Festival. Unsurprisingly, the rest of his class congratulate him for driving the hooligans out.
  • Masaya manages to go from Rags to Riches thanks to rescuing a random girl he met on the streets. It gets even better. In just a matter of weeks, he goes from living in a crappy apartment and being on the run for his life, to becoming a millionaire through winning the lottery and living in one of the most exclusive schools in the country.
  • Chairwoman Rousenin, while normally holding back against the headmistress, at one point, has had enough of her co-worker's petty nature. She verbally roasts her in a cold and calm voice, with the latter being left speechless and caught red-handed to the point she's forced to relent her punishment of Masaya.
  • W Happiness finally gives players the option of dating the previously-supporting characters, by giving them full routes that flesh out their characters more, and help to explain why they couldn't be romanced in the original VN.
  • Despite the bittersweet nature of the after-story routes in W Happiness, there's quite a few genuinely cool moments.
    • In Ruriko's route, Masaya with Ruriko's father's blessing, gets a new job as the Kamiyagi family's butler, and by extension, is also Ruriko's personal bodyguard.
    • In Konomi's route, he becomes a Naginata instructor at the Yanase household, with Konomi's grandmother taking a liking to him.
