  • For the first time in the series, you can explore the planet at night. The Rescue Corps is willing to poke the hornet's nest that is PNF-404 after dark if it means they can return each and every castaway home, safe and healthy. Standing up to horde after horde of crazed creatures to defend the Glow Pikmins' Lumiknolls will make you feel like a true Nature Hero.
  • After all the things it's been through, from crash-landing on the same planet three times to being sold by the President to help repay Hocotate Freight's debt, seeing the S.S. Dolphin soar into the stars once more alongside the S.S. Shepherd is a sight to behold.
  • The final battle against the Ancient Sirehound in 4. You, your pikmin, and Oatchi in a massive, five-stage boss fight against a multi-elemental beast being controlled by an irate Louie in a duel of captains and mounts. The epic mood of the fight is amplified by getting a rock-style battle theme.
  • Unlike the previous three games, where the captains had to abandon the Pikmin to return home, this time the Rescue Corps leave Moss on the planet to guide them - along with the Ancient Sirehound. Whatever creatures try to feed on the Pikmin next are in big trouble.
