The Viceroy and the Lady Grimme
- Viceroy Bubbles von Salamancer killing the White Wizard (Doc Scratch) with his staff, saving Rose even if it was just a dream.
Horse Play
- Andrew Hussie manages to troll Doc Scratch without even trying, by replacing all the piece on the board with horse-themed figurines. The Doc is enraged at the insult to his omniscience. Hussie is just annoyed about not getting the horse statue he actually wanted.
- At the end of the arc, Hussie uses one word to troll the Doc so hard, he has to reevaluate his life. What is that one word? Hors. Spelled out on the chess board by the pieces.
Mother & Grub
- The Dolorosa beats up a crocodile lusus and a lion lusus by herself, uses a coconut tree to shoot down a bird lusus, and went Rainbow Drinker on two trolls who wanted to sell wiggler!Sufferer. Talk about Mama Bear.
- Particularly epic was the panel where she glowed- becoming a rainbow-drinker- for the first time.
Damara
- The final page, in which Damara tells Cronus that it doesn't make a difference how many times he kills her, since it's a deviation from the alpha timeline. It's equal parts badass and terrifying.
Secret Sufferer
- The story behind the secret Sufferer gifts, Alternia's equivalent to Secret Santa: After the E%patriate let the Disciple go, she spread the Sufferer's teachings in secret, and those who followed them made a habit of sending dangerous and threatening gifts to Highbloods, to remind them that they killed the man but not his ideals. The example of the gift we see? The Grand Highblood receiving Marquise Spinneret Mindfang's lusus (or at the very least a smaller lusus that looks exactly like it and has the exact shade of blue blood) in a box.
Summerteen Romance
- In page 41, Tavros is staring down with AU!Dave, about to commence the rap battle. Supposedly, the next line in the script is "[Tavros lays down some mind-blowing rhymes]". While not pictured, since "this comic is already super long without an extended rap battle sequence anyways", Tavros proceeds to utterly thrash AU!Dave. AU or not, it's nice to see Tavros getting some appreciation for a change.
- Equius stops being a Butt-Monkey and protects Nepeta when she's confronted by Bear Noir...only for Nepeta to use him as a stepping stone for a surprise attack on the beast, killing it in the process! Also doubles as Funny Moment (and Heartwarming on Equius's part).Nepeta: APEX PREDATOR!
