  • Peter's first flight through London aboard the Ranger includes a scene where the ship comes in low and ducks under a bridge to avoid the RAF Spitfires chasing it, but instead of gracefully skimming the surface a la Snakes on a Plane, or slamming into the water and going submersible like the Flying Dutchman, it instead lands on the water, does what can only be described as 'the aquatic equivalent of a drift', then rides the water like a normal boat, all while travelling at it's normal flying speed, creating massive wakes that almost reach the deck rail through the entire maneuver. To top it off, the ship takes off again just barely late enough to No-Sell a relatively keel-shaped hole in another bridge that's a tad too low to sail under.
    • Not enough for you? When the ship reaches the mythical "second star to the right" (or rather, the waters under it), the ship comes to a stop, the helmsman presses a button near the helm, the sails billow up like they parked too close to an updraft, and the entire ship goes VTOL and shoots straight up into the stratosphere while the fighters pursuing it try to keep up the old-fashioned way. The result? One plane loses a wing from accumulated damage from the ship's cannons, the other two stall, while the Ranger keeps ascending in complete defiance of the laws of physics.
