- Flint rather handedly defeating former Nazi Hans Gruber after the man had cornered him in the restaurant bathroom.
- Flint and Galaxy agent Melcom Rodney's fight, which at one point becomes a fencing duel late in the film.
- Near the end of the movie, Cramden finally says what we've known since the film started.Cramden: Flint?Random Naval Officer: It can't be!Cramden: Of course, it can! That's why he's Flint!
- Flint's disguised cigarette lighter gadget, shame it got destroyed near the end.Flint: This (lighter) has 82 different functions - 83 if you want to light a cigar.
- The role of Flint as a whole for James Coburn: he somehow does all of the things listed above and much more and doesn't become completely obnoxious.
