    • How the Nomad beats the Ranch Hand. Taking shelter in the sheriff's office, Nomad waits until Ranch Hand extends his mechanical arm at him, then has some recently brought to life hand cuffs lock the arm to the jail bars. When the Ranch Hand tries to retract his arm, the reverse happens the entire piece goes flying off of his shoulder. Furious, Ranch Hand stomps in and reattaches his arm, preparing to give Nomad a beat down. • Melinda saving the Nomad from the Giant Spider after being saved herself.
  • A smaller one: As opposed to the bartender she used this spell on earlier, the Nomad resists Melinda's memory-wiping spell for a considerable amount of time before he succumbs.

Episode 11: The Red Carpet

  • The Nomad escaping the cage.
  • After getting pushed too far, Toth turns on Don Paragon for good.
    • In a way, Skout locking Toth up is one for her Character Development. At the beginning of the series, Skout was willing to go along with both Toth's quest to capture the Nomad, even justifying her more difficult moments as fighting for her people. Now, though, she's realized that however noble Toth's goals are, she's still willing to give a good man to a despot on the fleeting hope that tyrant will be charitable.
Skout: If El Rey was gonna do somethin' good, he woulda done it by now.
  • After spending the entire season running away from conflicts, the Nomad stops to think about everything he's heard from the various people he's met. In the end, he chooses to confront Don Paragon in person.

Episode 12: Fiesta

  • The Nomad confronting Don Paragon and (via charades) declaring that the people are thirsty. He may be a scarecrow, but even he can see the political scope of how wrong it is to monopolize a resource the people need very much.
  • The whole fight sequence. To boot:
    • The Nomad manages to animate enough rocks to form a suit of adaptive armor that enables him to fight off Toth, then manages to animate a giant statue to help take her out of the fight for good. He also manages to disarm Don Paragon and riles up the townsfolk into rebel against him.
    • Don Paragon, for his part, takes the gloves off and puts up more fight than expected. His swordsmanship is good enough to slice off the Nomad's leg, and he tanks several punches of varying sizes and a reservoir bursting on top of him without suffering serious injury.
    • Toth manages to lay the hurt on both Red Manuel and Don Paragon, and it's satisfying to behold.
    • Not to be outdone, Skout finds two guards around a firework cannon, and orders them to help Don Paragon fight the Nomad on the ground. Once that's done, she manages to send Red Manuel flying by using a lasso tied to a cannonball and heeds Toth's advice by breaking the reservoir open.
  • In a moment which blends with Nightmare Fuel, a beaten Don Paragon gets surrounded by a flock of ravens under the command of El Rey, who enquires about the Nomad's whereabouts. When Don explains what happened, El Rey shows his power and anger by blotting out the area around the wannabe tyrant, then shreds him into nothing with the ravens. Toth, who witnessed all of it, is visibly spooked and lost for words.
  • The last shot? Skout and Nomad riding into the sunrise, determined to take El Rey down together.
