• As difficult as the miscarriage of Jubilee was for Jim Bob and Michelle as a couple and the Duggars as a family, what makes Jim Bob and the experience of this miscarriage stand out is the sensitivity and appreciation Jim Bob shows Michelle as the woman who carried Jubilee and the person who experienced losing her most intensely and directly.
• At the end of the episode "Nesting and Room Re - do" The director of the series, who is supervising filming some of the other kids outside of Jim Bob and Michelle's house, drops everything and runs into the kitchen to help when Josie is discovered to be having a seizure. The man had his priorities straight.
