  • The very first moment Scott Hall appeared on Nitro.
Scott Hall: You people... you know who I am. But you don't... know why... I'm here.
  • The first time Kevin Nash appeared on Nitro. If Razor Ramon, former WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion, wasn't enough to get your attention, then how about Diesel, who held the WWE World Heavyweight Title for a year?
  • TNT beat Monday Night Football with this storyline.
  • Hall and Nash attacking Eric Bischoff (to a massive pop) at the 1996 Great American Bash, culminating with Nash jackknifing Bischoff through a table.
  • Hall and Nash's (entirely justified) arrogance at the 1996 Bash at the Beach, when they refused to bring their third guy out right away.
Kevin Nash: We've got enough to handle it right now, just us.
    • And damn, they were right. They were holding their own quite well 3-on-2, and then when Luger got knocked out, they were dominating Sting and Randy Savage.
  • And then, the third man. Hogan's speech comes off almost as a true-to-life condemnation of how the fans have been turning on him the last few years.
Hulk Hogan: For two years, brother! For two years, I held my head high. I did everything for the charities. I did everything for the kids. And the reception I got when I came out here? You fans can stick it, brother!
  • Kevin Nash sending Rey Mysterio Jr. flying like a lawn dart.
    • Head first into the side of a tractor trailer, to boot. Props have to go to Mysterio as well for that particular bump.
  • Hindsight bias has really watered down the sheer impact of the nWo, but for a time this angle was pretty much single-handedly kicking the ever-loving stuffing out of Vince McMahon and the WWF.
  • Hogan defacing the WCW World Heavywight Championship by spray painting the nWo letters on it, signifying that as the moment the nWo were here to stay.
