  • The beginning of the movie. Poirot effortlessly uncovers the truth of the crime in Jerusalem and clears 3 religious figures of the crime, and even anticipates where the guilty party will run, first by sending an armed guard to block an entrance gate ahead of time, and sticking his cane in the Wailing Wall to effectively clothesline the thief when he tries a different escape route. This also serves as a great Establishing Character Moment.
  • When Professor Hardman first goes on a rant about "the mixing of races", he points at Ms. Debenham's wine glasses and makes an allegory that it would be like "mixing red wine with white wine". In response, Debenham pours one into the other and drinks it right up, without so much as grimacing. He gave her the perfect opportunity to annihilate his argument with basic drink mixing and she took it.
Debenham: I like a good rosé.
  • Arbuthnot's aiming skills: he's such a good sniper that he can aim his gun to hit anything except vital organs if he wants to. The same goes with his knife skills, a testament of his steady hand at surgery if Caroline/Linda surviving is any indication.
  • Poirot's fights with McQueen and Arbuthnot at different points in the film.
  • Poirot's Badass Boast towards the end:
Poirot: You tell your lies, and you think no one will know. But two people will know. Yes, two people. Your God... and Hercule Poirot.
  • The way Linda Arden reveals her true identity: she just has to remove her wig. Michelle Pfeiffer manages to gradually change her expression so convincingly that it feels like she's taking off a mask to reveal a completely different person behind it.
    • Compounding that, it's revealed that after Cassetti was murdered, Linda imitated his voice to make it sound like he was still alive at the time.
