We've evolved!

Trailers

  • Shots of Morbius demonstrating his powers. No wonder he feels more alive than ever.
    • Psychic Powers: Summoning a ball to his hand, using echolocation, and apparently communicating with bats telepathically.
    • Super Mode: His vampire form is glimpsed both in a movement shot (where he slashes a mook with his claws) and in a close-up shot of his face, Red Eyes, Take Warning and all.
    • Super-Strength: Lifting a massive stone sarcophagus like it was a sofa.
    • Super-Reflexes: Leaping from wall to wall in a house corridor, while shrouded in shadows. Additionally, he flies towards gunmen so fast that he's already reached them from the moment they pull the triggers on their own guns!

The Movie

  • If one watches Morbius' escape from Horizon when confronted by Stroud and Rodriguez, Stroud actually blocks the first strike from a fully vamped Morbius - something damn impressive considering Morbius' strength and speed at that point.
  • The entirety of the Mook Horror Show on the ship, in which the hapless mercenaries are being hunted down by a vamped Morbius.
  • Morbius learning to fly for the first time, timing it perfectly to escape Milo by riding the wind generated by an oncoming train.
  • Dr. Michael Morbius himself, even without his powers.
    • First, he saved Milo from dying by fixing his blood pump, and said blood pump was pointed out to have been developed by more experienced scientists for years. And he was ten when he fixed it with a spring from a ballpoint pen. No wonder Nicholas wanted to send the young Michael to medical school immediately!
    • He then became the youngest person to receive his Doctorate, at the age of nineteen!
    • Twenty-five years later, the then-crippled Morbius went on to win a Nobel Prize for developing artificial blood, which he declined.
  • The entire fact that only a few hours after the incident on the ship, Michael returns to his lab, and after an ingestion of artificial blood, he is able to properly diagnose his condition, down to what is needed to maintain his new body, and proceeds to test his limits by putting himself in a containment cell. Vamped or not, Morbius is still a doctor in the end, who's willing to get himself a cure to his condition, even setting him up as a living test subject.
  • Morbius calmly strolls into an abandoned laboratory occupied by a street gang, stops the leader's attempt to stab him, and methodically breaks the bones in the man's weapon hand while naming them. The rest of the terrified thugs wisely make a run for it, leaving Morbius and Martine with a new lab.
  • Milo himself is a Villainous CMOA.
    • The Reveal that he had taken the serum back at Morbius' prison cell. Firstly, he left his cane back in the cell, after leaving a blood pack for Michael to drink from, and simply walked out of the prison, all while an enraged Morbius shouts out his name, knowing perfectly what his old friend had become.
    • Pictured above is the subsequent fight in the subway, with several slow-mo shots employed, not unlike the ones employed in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, showcasing the two vampire hybrids' strength, speed, and agility.
    • Milo's ploy against the police coming to arrest him. He played along, all while clawing a shard out of the wall he's pinned to, and proceeds to toss it on one of them, before killing them in quick succession, not unlike how Albert Wesker would do so.
    • Thanks to his enhanced hearing, which is able to pick up heartbeats, Milo is basically a Living Lie Detector, as shown as he heard Bancroft's elevated heartbeat as she lied to him in Horizon.
    • During the climactic battle, he completely dominates the fight against an enraged Morbius.
  • Morbius ending the climactic battle against Milo by summoning a swarm of bats and using them to pin Milo down in order to administer the serum, killing him.
