  • From the original 2002-2004 run: MLW War Games, especially the Weapons Match and the War Games match itself.
  • MLW's revival run would count as this. To clarify, Court Bauer held a then-one off show in 2017 dubbed 'One-Shot' to which it became a success. Thanks to the fan support, it persuaded Bauer to bring the promotion back full time with a series of iPPVs in early 2018. Later that year, the MLW momentum kept up when beIN Sports began to televise the promotion on a weekly basis (that lasts to this day) and most shows in 2018-2019 being sold out so much that at least one Chicago taping had to turn away some of its fans. After learning a lot of lessons during MLW's early 2000s run, we all know that the world of MLW would NEVER stop.
    • The way in which MLW got their TV deal also qualifies. Court Bauer's original plan was to have a TV deal in three years and live TV events in four. This all happened within a year because beIN approached MLW about airing on TV, and then later in the year asked for live events, which they provided support and logistics for. beIN was impressed with the product but especially impressed that MLW presents itself as an athletic competition rather than entertainment. As a result, MLW is the only other wrestling company in the United States besides WWE that is paid a rights fee.

  • At a ripe age of 23, Salina De La Renta has proven herself to be a notable and talented manager/promoter of her Promociones Dorado to which her stable has held a World & Tag Team title during its tenure with the promotion. In addition, she's the very first full-time Spanish-language female commentator for a national wrestling promotion.

  • From Episode 63 of Fusion, the Von Erichs and Tom Lawlor vs Contra Unit main event. A tag team tornado match, it allowed all of the competitors to brawl wildly, which worked, given the nature of Contra as a group of wild rule breakers. The end of the match came when Marshall and Ross Von Erich gave a hybrid Von Erich Claw/Back Suplex to Simon Gotch, pinning him and giving Contra their first defeat in MLW. Following the match, the brawl continued, with Jacob Fatu and Simon Gotch wiping out several referees while they and Josef Samael continued to fight with Lawlor and the Von Erichs.

  • Episode 73 of MLW Fusion had Tom Lawlor getting his return match with Jacob Fatu for the World Heavyweight Championship. Lawlor lost thanks to interference by Josef Samael, and post-match Simon Gotch came out to join in beating down Lawlor with Fatu and Samael. Marshall and Ross Von Erich run down to even things up, but new Contra Unit member Ikuro Kwon runs down and again Contra has the advantage. Everything looks bleak with Lawlor and the Von Erichs being beaten down when suddenly, the whirring of helicopter blades is heard on the venue's soundsystem. Low Ki comes out, openly challenges Contra Unit, and then charges the ring without hesitation, which allows Lawlor and the Von Erichs to recover and fight back.

  • MLW held their first-ever PPV, Saturday Night SuperFight, on November 2nd in Chicago. Just holding a show on PPV is awesome for a young company like MLW, but they needed to make a good first impression. What resulted was a show that's drawn widespread (if not universal) praise and plaudits from wrestling fans and pundits. The most common lines of praise were that there was something for every kind of wrestling fan on the show, and that even the weakest parts of the show were merely "very good" as opposed to "superb". Among other highlights were:
    • An excellent Texas Tornado tag match with Marshall and Ross Von Erich battling MJF and Richard Holliday.
    • A hot trios match featuring Injustice taking on Gringo Loco, Septimo Dragon, and Puma King, with the bout starting off fast and not letting up for a second.
    • A superb bout between Teddy Hart and Austin Aries with both men giving and taking a lot of punishment.
    • A brutal technical match between Timothy Thatcher and "Filthy" Tom Lawlor that kept the audience glued to the action.
    • A violent Stairway To Hell match between Mance Warner, Jimmy Havoc, and Bestia 666 with all three men taking brutal and ridiculously painful bumps.
    • An utterly chaotic brawl between LA Park and Jacob Fatu for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.
  • MLW is set to air their content in Spring of 2021 on VICE TV. That's right, the same channel that airs Dark Side of the Ring.
  • Having the 'unique' opportunity of bringing back a noted and infamous Lucha Underground legend: DARIO CUETO.
  • As if Mil Muertes himself wasn’t enough, they brought back another Lucha Underground legend to join him: Karlee Pérez aka Catrina.
  • 2021 War Chamber match had yet another Lucha Underground legend appear, on the side of Team Hammerheads to counter CONTRA Unit’s first entree in former world champion Jacob Fatu: Cesar Duran’s ‘blood’ brother Matanza, only for Matanza to take off his mask and reveal himself as the returning Jeff Cobb.
  • MLW's new tv deal with REELZ as MLW Underground Wrestling and quickly became its highest rated show after only three episodes.
  • Never Say Never 2023 finally revealed the mysterious backer of The Bombaye Fight Club; legendary boxing promoter Don King himself!
