  Conan O'Brien: Quebec, they made French their first language, uh, there's been talk for years of splitting off, there's animosity. We thought, "Let's investigate this" and send a correspondent to Quebec City, and who better...than Triumph... [most amazing crowd reaction ensues, drowning Conan out for the next few seconds] ...the insult comic dog.
• Conan, some time after discovering his striking resemblance to Finland's then-president Tarja Halonen, ran some mock campaign ads for her on the show. When she wound up being re-elected, Conan took it as a sign and eventually wound up taking the show to Finland for a five-day stay. Turns out Conan is huge in Finland, and got mobbed by over 2,000 fans at the airport. It's like a "Beatles landing in New York" moment for Conan.
