  • The fight between the Hulk and the three Hulk-dogs is the first time the movie portrays Hulk as a hero as he protects Betty. It's also a brutal mix of brawling and strategy:
    • The way he injures Sammy is priceless. Hulk grabs him by the back leg, holds him upside-down, and punches him right in the gamma-nads. It could be Hulk's way of getting indirect payback for Lily's cheap-shot groin attack on him beforehand.
    • Later, Sammy bites and latches on to Hulk's left trapezius. When Hulk can't pry him off with his hands, Hulk flexes his muscle—still in Sammy's mouth—until it grows large enough to break his jaw.
  • Bruce refuses to transform and stifles his anger while Talbot attacks him with a cattle prod, knowing what Talbot plans to do. Bruce tells Talbot that he will never allow him and his Mad Scientist group to get what they want.
  • The Epic Fail of the syringes failing to penetrate Hulk's skin:
  • The Hulk's escape from containment. Adaptive genetics make him immune to Knockout Gas, bullets bounce off his skin—which is tougher than Kevlar—and he has a healing factor that would make Wolverine proud.
  • The film seems to do everything to make Talbot's abuse as satisfying as possible, from getting his ass thrown around by Hulk to his hilariously Narmy freeze-frame death.
  • The Hulk's rampage after escaping Desert Base.
  • The Hulk battling the tanks: he flips one tank over, grabs it by the cannon, and hammer throws it into the distance. Then Hulk rips the top off of another and uses it as a club before advancing on the last tank with an expression that screams "beatdown time." Instead of tearing them apart, he walks right up to them and then slams the cannon to the ground, at which point the soldiers duck into the tank in fear. Then Hulk bends the cannon back until the end of it is inches from a soldier's face, which has an Oh, Crap! expression.
  • The Hulk's ability to leap miles at a time and run over one hundred miles an hour is handy when outrunning hunter helicopters and slapping aside missiles.
  • The Hulk catches a missile effortlessly while running, holds it while the rocket is still firing, rips the warhead off with his teeth, and then spits it at a helicopter's tail.
  • Hulk saves a soldier's jet from crashing into the Golden Gate Bridge, proving that Hulk is still a hero despite his destructive tendencies.
    • Although implied, Bruce briefly regained control to save the jet and the drivers on the bridge.
  • The entire fight with the Absorbing Man: his sheer power is shown in a display of stunning imagery, turning into an electrical being ala Zzzax and merging with a thunderstorm, then turning into a rocklike creature and becoming part of a mountain, and finally, his mightiest form: water. He becomes utterly immune to the Hulk's physical attacks and nearly kills him.
  • Three small words: "TAKE IT AAAAAAAAALL!"
