    Introduction Arc
  • Ihwa's introduction shows us what to expect. After putting pressure on a superpowered lighting user purely through hand to hand combat, she manages to touch him, allowing her to copy his power. Despite facing his own power, he doesn't last a minute.
  • Victoria's first actual appearance has her demolish an army of marauders in vehicles. She does it with a single sword swing, which also cleaves the mountain chain behind them. All the while making sure with her secretary that no cameras are there to witness her brutality.

    17th district assault arc
  • Engen, the smiling man, gets quite a lot. He single handedly brings down a building, willingly steps into Chain Smoker's territory only to show he's too strong to be trapped, and generally terrifies the veteran hero into being willing to sacrifice his life just to stop someone so dangerous from carrying his plans.
  • Racehl reveals the main application of her gift. She can transport herself and an opponent into a seperate dimension with a touch, where her plant powers become much stronger, and more brutal. Versus a brute-force type opponent that relies on close combat, the fight was over when it began.
  • Chaos uses a combination of a powered suit and his ability to peer into the past to keep just ahead enough of The Smiling Man's attack to stand a chance. Notably, nobody else that isn't an Elder came close to beating Engen ever since, but Chaos might have done it he wasn't so overworked by the Hero Clan.
  • Victoria shows how far above everyone else the Elders are, by smashing a sword so gigantic it upends the entire city. Engen, winning everyone else until that point, is left bleeding and weary after this single attack.
  • Yushin faces down Victoria despite being heavily injured, to give Ihwa and The Nameless time to escape. He knows he can't win a fellow Elder, but he can sure go down swinging hard enough to delay her.

    Hero Trials arc
  • Ihwa gets one for succeeding most of the trials while not being able to use gifts, because she's already using one to disguise herself. It shows us how just her grit and physical combat is far above most of the applicants.
  • Lyca not only forces Ihwa to abandon her disguise (briefly), but almso gets complemented by Ihwa. If not for her cowardice, she could do great things.
  • Defeating Connor is a big one for Ihwa. She uses most of her team's gifts, uses Conner's own gift against him, is still outmatched after a good fight but finally gets a killing blow through subterfuge. Her reward? An extremely useful and dangerous parament gift fit for her gambling nature.

    Hero Trials: Truck Escort
  • Engen personally trains Ihwa. The result is her understanding she can use her stolen gifts better than the original users, now that she outgrew them in EST and skill. She turns jade's lighting gift red, and massively increases the output, resulting in the current page image and making Engen smile at her potential.
  • Jintae's fight with Ihwa is one for both fighters. Each showcases their skill and intelligence in combat, but Jintae eventually comes out on top. While the fight had interference, he managed to win despite Ihwa using Killer's Time and precious trump cards such as Yushin's temporary gift.

     Battle for the Torch
  • Ihwa gets to show off her new red lighting. She absolutely trashes a number of other contenders for the Torch, and ends the arc in somewhat equal standing to Reagan Sinclair and Sledgehammer, while also earning enough of Victoria's interest to let her keep Nenya.

    Nostra arc
  • The Elders finally meet onscreen.Things escalate quickly when Bishop calls Victoria by the Witch's nickname for her, Vicky. This leads to a geography-altering fight between Victoria and Prim.
    • Prim uses shards of unbelievable destructive capabilities beyond any non-Elder fighter shown thus far, but all they do is annoy Victoria due to Prim underestimating her. All of prim's shield-shards are destroyed by Victoria's overwhelming power A point-blank mountain destroying blast doesn't even phase her.
    • Prim is finally convinced to use her own gift, manifesting a different personality and a giant energy-made being, who's grasp causes Victoria's first case of spilled blood shown in the story.
    • Not only was all of the above revealed to not even be 10% of Prim's true power, Prim considers Victoria even stronger still, and Victoria reveals she only went along with this mock fight to let her and Prim speak away from the other Elder's privy eyes. Mountains were decapitated due to Elders needing a bit of privacy.
