• Gilda/Wolverine's cameo in Flutterhulk has her maul a gang of griffons harassing Fluttershy.
• Rainbow Dash fighting her way through the N.E.I.G.H. compound in Soar, topped by her fight with Pinkie Pie.
• Fenrir's first scene ends with Trixie riding him. Picture that.
• Fluttershy Hulking out and going up against Snowflake/Red Hulk.
• Hoofcuff finally taking enough of Iron Will's crap and giving him a "The Reason You Suck" Speech about his obsession with Fluttershy.
• Rarity and Applejack have so far both managed to shake off Nightmare Moon's dream assaults, designed to drive them past the Despair Event Horizon.
• Pinkie Pie, Spitfire, and the Warriors Three vs. Fenrir.
  • Comet Trail finally gets his moment to shine in the following chapter, when he uses his expertise in magic to help the Equinsgardians free Fenrir from his curse (mentally, anyway).
• Luna, despite suffering from the effects of both a sleep spell and Changeling anesthetic, wills herself to break out of the cocoon she's trapped in, One Hit Kills the two Changelings guarding her, and then drags herself to the Bifrost's controls to bring Rainbow Dash and the others home. And even then, she tries to keep going to help them, with Rainbow Dash having to order her to go see a doctor.
• Rainbow Dash vs Trixie at the climax of Soar.
  • A villainous example from the same chapter: Chrysalis realizes Trixe will double cross her, and thus survives the story.
• Fleur using her shapeshifting to scare off the bullies who have been bullying Cupcake.
• Carrot Cake's Pay Evil unto Evil treatment during his Roaring Rampage of Revenge, killing the griffin Mad Scientist who tortured and experimented on him, burning down the facility, and setting out to find Gustav.
• Sweetie Belle calling out her mother for being a selfish Jerkass who has always treated Rarity like crap for not living her life the way Pearl wanted, and how Sweetie doesn't want to be anything like her. This impresses Rarity enough that she seems to stop seeing Sweetie as an Annoying Younger Sibling and starts treating her kindly for a change.
  • Heck, Pearl even tries to apologize to Rarity a few chapters later.
• How does Apple Bloom earn her cutie mark? She outpaces several trained professionals in field stripping weapons, finishing more in two hours than they could finish in a week.
  • She gets another one when she beats down a soldier twice her size for badmouthing her sister and mother. And when one of his friends tries to help him, Apple Bloom snaps the other guy's wrist without breaking stride, scaring off him and their other friends.
• During Rarity's first test flight of her suit, she flies fast enough to perform a Sonic Rainboom.
• When Rarity sees a newsfeed about the Ten Rings using the money from her ransom to hurt innocents, she decides to use the suit to stop it.
