- Dr. Loomis saves the day as he shoots Michael Myers FIVE TIMES in the chest and once in the temple with a .38 revolver! And then the Shape just shrugs it off and gets away.
- Laurie really deserves more credit for this film. She not only stands up to a terrifying psychotic killer, she manages to stab him in the gut with his own knife and with a coat hanger in his freakin' eye! Even then, it's awesome for Myers who manages to survive both and the above mentioned shooting.
- In addition to the coat hanger, how about the fact in a state of sheer terror, she came up with the idea of using the hanger, and the fact she was able to hit Michael in the eye while his masked face was in the dark? That girl's not just smart, she's got good luck too.
- To top it off, Laurie does it all not to save herself but to save the kids. When she finds her friends' bodies she immediately heads to the children and sends them to safety, fending off Michael the whole time. It's only when the kids are safe that she slips up and Michael almost kills her. Whatever the Doyles were paying her is not enough.
- Dr. Loomis' famous quote on how messed up Michael is:I met him, 15 years ago; I was told there was nothing left; no reason, no conscience, no understanding in even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, of good or evil, right or wrong. I met this... six-year-old child with this blank, pale, emotionless face, and... the blackest eyes - the Devil's eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up, because I realized that what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil.
