• Naruto showing leadership potential immediately after the Hokage's death and convincing the other five children to run away with him.
• The children successfully escaping Konoha.
  • They managed to defeat (but not kill) Yashamaru, who is a freaking CHUUNIN. Perhaps that says more about him than the lot of them but it's still impressive.
• Naruto, Haku and Gaara successfully retrieving a very important medicinal herb from the Mist village hospital and saving Sasuke, Sakura, Neji, Hinata and Sai's lives.
• Sasuke and Kimimaro give Zabuza a run for his money during the fight on the bridge and Naruto manages to mostly fight Kakashi all by his lonesome.
• Haku turns Isaribi onto the side of good during her fight. Also a Heartwarming Moment.
• Kakashi beheading Gato. Because we needed to be reminded of how awesome Kakashi is.
• Sai singlehandedly insuring that Naruto passes the written part of the Chuunin exam.
• Sasuke slapping some sense into a BSOD-ing Naruto.
• Kimimaro's "fight" with Kiba and Akamaru, overlapping with "The Reason You Suck" Speech.
• Sasuke curbstomping Zaku. By threatening to rip off his arms.
• Hinata curbstomping Matsuri.
• Neji's fight against Ten-Ten wherein he not only curbstomps her but also deconstructs her reasons for harping on foreign ninja so much.
• Sai distracting an elite group of ROOT agents with one of his drawings.
  • Pretty much anytime Sai decides to start making fun of people, either this or a Funny Moment is about to happen.
• Gaara fighting most of the battle atop the Hokage monument BY HIMSELF. While restraining and defending Kankuro, Temari, and Matsuri to boot!
• Hinata undoing Neji's curse seal and later unraveling the seal on Orochimaru's brain.
