• The fight between Zane and David. Let's recap:
  • In response to David's taunting, Zane tells him he's going to win in five moves.
    • In the end, it only takes him four.
  • No matter how hard he tries, David can't land a single hit. Zane, on the other hand, not only turns David's lightning magic back on him, but every time one of Zane's attacks hits, it hits hard.

• Sarah gets one herself during the first fight with the Oni. When magic doesn't take him down, she decides to try to solve her problem the old fashioned way. By running him down with a truck.

• The first time we see Jason use his Berserker Soul spell. That jorogumo never had a chance.

• The oni have already shown themselves to be strong enough to use their clubs to crush cars with ease. Then one of them tries the same thing against Kora, who doesn't even bother trying to dodge it. Instead, she just catches it with one hand.

• We'd had hints that Zane was more powerful than his friends, but we hadn't really gotten any conclusive proof. Then Zane fought Orochi. Zane uses every trick he has to beat the ever-loving hell out of Orochi, and it looks like, if anything, his power was being underestimated the whole time.
  • That description doesn't begin to do it justice. Orochi is said to be the most powerful yokai there is. And Zane doesn't just beat Orochi- the yokai is completely overwhelmed.
  • During the fight, Zane doesn't pull any punches. In fact, he seems to be trying to kill Orochi in the most brutally efficient ways possible. To recap:
    • He blasts a hole through one head. Then he freezes one from the inside out. One is decapitated, one is bifurcated, and the other three are destroyed with a blast of pure magical force.
    • And he finished the fight by using the flames from his sword to turn Izanami's host body to ash
  • One thing's for sure - if Zane decides you have to die, he's going to make damn sure you're down for good.
