• At the end of Recca's second fight with Tokiya Mikagami, he subverts Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors by using his fire to BOIL Tokiya's water sword.
• The teamwork displayed by Recca, Fuko, and Domon in destroying Maria, the laser-firing statue.
• When Recca takes off his bracer and summons the flame dragons for the first time.
• Almost any of the Hokage's fights during the Ura Butou Satsujin arc counts.
  • Koganei's entrance, which consists of throwing his Kougan Anki at Hokage and then landing on it (before deciding to join their group), is this and a Dynamic Entry.
    • Also, Mokuren telling the speed at which Koganei can switch Kougan Anki's forms (skilled users will take around 10 seconds)- 0.6 seconds.
  • Tokiya looks like he's falling for Mokuren's demand to put down Ensui and getting the crap beaten out of him (he is, mind you, a Glass Cannon. He can't take much beating). Turns out that's what he planned, because Mokuren rooted himself to the ground, so if he stabbed Ensui to the ground for a long time, the ground freezes with Mokuren. When Mokuren pulls off another Dirty Coward spiel holding Koganei hostage, Tokiya would have none of that shit, saves the boy and cuts the bastard down at the same time.
  • The Quarter Finals. Hokage's opposing team forfeits. The audience is not pleased... and boos. Recca efficiently tells them to shut the fuck up by threatening them to use Setsuna if they don't shut up. The team leader then gives a Rousing Speech, saying that Team Hokage has made it this far with their own strength and they deserve cheering. This leads the audience that has been booing them to die to finally accept that Team Hokage is their rep and supports them all the way.
  • Domon punching one of Magensha's corpse-head attacks out of the way. Keep in mind it killed Jisho, one of the Uruha and one of Kurei's loyal followers, in one hit by splitting the guy in half.
  • Again with Domon, he defeats Noroi through sheer willpower, destroying the madogu.
  • Fuuko replacing the main orb of Fuujin, which she doesn't have, with another madogu, creating spikes of wind to cut her opponents. It impresses Kage Houshi, who had never even though of combining the two madogu in such a way.
    • And later on, after being a victim of Clothing Damage to her bikini and eventually defeating Fujimaru, Fuuko just snatches the referee's mic just to threaten the whole audience that she's definitely going to brutally kick the butt of anyone that dares do things like this.
  • Recca's BIG Shut Up, Hannibal! to Kurei near the end of their fight. It goes like this:
    You know, I must really be an idiot. I don't even understand. I'm not even sure if I'm right, maybe I'm not. And it's not like I'm coming here planning on becoming the crusader of justice or anything. Even so, I took my worthless head and I've been doing a lot of thinking. And the only thing I know for a fact are my feelings about you: DON'T TRY TO FEED THIS SHIT ON ME, ASSHOLE!!! *PUNCH*

    IT'S JUST LIKE A LITTLE KID THAT IS BEING PICKED ON, THEN TURNING AROUND AND PICKING ON SOMEONE ELSE!!! AND THAT SURE DOESN'T MAKE YOU LOOK GOOD, KUREI!!!
• Hiruko manages to stall Recca, Mikigami, and Koganei, all at once for 10 minutes.
• When Hokage seems to be stalled with fighting Mori's zombie clones and won't reach Yanagi in time, guess who comes? The Kuu. Who are then joined by the remnants of Uruha Ma. The Bus Came Back indeed.
• Saicho gets one for managing to predict Kadotsu's actions and preparing a counterattack beforehand. Then, when Kurei is about to kill him, he barely even breaks a sweat and accepts his demise when Joker appears and intervenes, making it a bit of a Heartwarming moment.
• When Mikoto hits Kukai three times too many, he goes into his Demon form. Even Recca is slightly scared of it. Kukai proceeds to curbstomp Mikoto and completely destroy her puppet.
• Domon in the Sealed Lands arc. After being thought to be a victim of Death By Falling, he single-handedly roused Recca back from the Despair Event Horizon just by revealing himself to be alive. During his battle with Kirin, he won by... TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS.
  • Which is only stopped because Tokiya suggests that Yanagi yells she's telling Fuuko later.
• Kurei returning to the shrine where his mother is kept. A supposed Elite Mook is there to stop him from slaughtering everyone. It goes about as well as expected. Oh yes, he's definitely back.
• During the Sealed Lands arc, someone had the bright idea to use Recca's adopted father Shigeo as a hostage. Shigeo stands defiant and tells Recca not to worry, in his own way of being a boisterous Bumbling Dad. Then Kagerou comes to the rescue and this is where the awesome shines. Who the hell do you think taught Recca about fighting with fireworks? Shigeo shows his kidnapper how it's done by blasting him away, then claims that he's still got it.
