SPOILER WARNING!

  • The reimagining of the Fourth Grail War’s first major battle. With not five, but TEN different Servants all slugging it out, this was practically guaranteed, and everyone gets a moment to shine:
    • Saber not only gets her original epic duel with Diarmuid and her fierce skirmish with Lancelot, but a brief fight with Archer X AKA Tex has her demonstrate both her own ingenuity and her partner’s lesson on adaptability by employing a technique called Mordhau (essentially grabbing her sword by the blade and bringing the hilt down to smash her enemy’s weapon, in this case a shotgun).
    • Saber X AKA Qrow proves that despite being both sarcasm-prone and a heavy drinker, he’s still a swordsman to be reckoned with by fighting Saber herself to a draw. Bonus points for cleverly exploiting her growing temper.
    • Assassin X unleashes a GIANT WATER DRAGON on Lancer & Archer X, then he later cuts Berserker's arm off with his Lightning Blade.
    • Berserker X AKA Kenpachi's entrance in the fray. He just walks in and challenges the seven Heroic Spirits currently present on the docks (technically eight, but Hundred Faces was hidden). Then his sheer bloodlust is enough to make every human character currently witnessing the fight feel as if they were being killed in some way, and that's before he challenges Gilgamesh almost in the very instant he appears.
  • The battle in the Einzbern Forest also has several moments:
    • When Caster attempts to start killing the kids he captured, Caster X shows up & throws him around with telekinesis before countering his attempts to transform the kids into monsters.
    • Caster shows his military experience with his monster army, and through his insanity, he even shrugs off one of Assassin X's illusions.
    • Berserker consciously chooses to fight Rider X for Caster X's sake even when Saber is nearby. He also uses a tree branch as a weapon like in his myth.
    • Lancer runs through a flaming tornado to hit Caster's book.
    • Assassin X also shows his cunning by using his first attempt to get Caster's book to leave some skin on the latter for his hounds to track & attack him.
    • Irisviel & Maiya also demonstrate just how powerful other world abilities can make magi by actually putting up a much better fight against Kirei before having to escape, while in canon, they were easily beaten & left for dead by the Executor.
    • Even with a golem assisting him, Kayneth is still outmatched by Kiritsugu who uses a combination of Substitution, Shadow Clones, & Transformation jutsu along with his usual skillset to nearly kill him.
  • Caster X manages to conciliate the three kings of Zero. While they still disagree on the best way of rulership, the fact he manages to stop either side from speaking harsh words - mainly, Iskandar to Artoria - is a feat already, but the fact GILGAMESH, of all people, listens as well is nothing short of incredible. You go, Gandalf.
  • During the battle on the river, Assassin X starts using combo moves with the other servants to do more damage to Caster's abomination. He combines a Fire Dragon Bomb with Invisible Air to roast it while his clone simultaneously creates a twisting water geyser which Rider electrocutes with his chariot, all while Caster X uses holy magic to make the elements twist around the Gigantic Horror.
    • A villainous one, but Maul's debut in the fray was something. Not only he appears causing chaos, but he also squares off against Saber X, Saber and Lancer during the fight - fatally wounding the first and fending off the two latter ones at the same time, taunting Diarmuid enough for him to commit a mistake that inadvertently leads to his spear being broken like in canon.
  • The duel between Artoria and Diarmuid denied to the audience in canon happens here and it's a blast. Even handicapping herself to only one hand, Artoria still manages to beat her opponent clean and give both of them the satisfaction of a proper duel between knights, a way different end for their rivalry if compared with canon.
  • The final battle of Team Waver against Gilgamesh and Megatron.
    • On Ionioi Hetairoi, we have the armies of Iskandar fighting against Megatron's summoned soldiers with Dark Energon by calling upon the lost in the campaigns of the Macedonian King, then Megatron raises those soldiers who fell to his initial assault, too. When Megatron attempts to break Iskandar by questioning if the men called upon by the Noble Phantasm were truly there by their own choice rather than being bent by the king's overwhelming charisma, the one to refute such a notion is WAVER, who, despite being terrified, says with confidence that every single soul under Iskandar's banner came there by their own will, because Iskandar cares for them, that he stood by their sides and now they stand by his - and he includes himself in that speech. This is further vindicated later, when Qrow appears inside to save Waver's life, then distract Megatron in a critical moment, allowing Iskandar to retaliate. Considering how anti-social the man could be in his home series, it only reinforces how Rider's power is in the connections he makes as well as his sheer charisma.
    • Meanwhile, in another spot of the Marble, Gilgamesh and Berserker X engage in a struggle between the strongest of the X Servants. Kenpachi's raw power against the overwhelming arsenal of Gate of Babylon. It's not a battle with fancy tactics, it's just two Servants launching stronger and stronger attacks in an attempt to kill each other. The most notable part is the ending, where Kenpachi manages to pull himself free of Enkidu (keep in mind that, as a shinigami, Kenpachi has a small amount of Divinity, which should make the already hardy chains even stronger), which leads to Gilgamesh drawing Ea to finish off his enemy. How does Berserker X answer? He laughs like a child who just got candy and puts both hands in his sword and prepares himself to swing back at Gil, who just can't help but also laugh at the audacity of his enemy. The most awesome part? While Kenpachi loses the struggle, he still survives a blow from Ea for long enough to stop Megatron from attacking Waver, never falling on the ground as he disappears.
  • Lancelot overwhelms Avenger X (Darth Maul) during their bout in the basement of the Matou mansion. Not only is the fight already awesome by itself - two master swordsmen going all-out against each other - but there's also the fact that Maul continuously tries to push Lancelot back to his mad self. However, the faith Gandalf has held in him throughout the War pays off, as he shrugs off Maul's attempts and proceeds to win decisively by running him through with Glamdring and chopping his head off for good measure.
  • The way how Megatron plays the War by itself is also incredible. Not only does he manipulate Team Tokiomi skillfully, he also forms his own rebel alliance to cause further chaos and move his plans forward until all pieces are set for the final duel. That's The Chessmaster at his best.
  • Adoptive or not, Kiritsugu proves to be Shirou's father by managing to wound Servants during the Grail War even if they were distracted, first with one of Archer X's copies & later mortally wounding Rider X & destroying his Noble Phantasm.
