Awesomeness in Far Cry Primal

  • Whether alone, or with the help of your animal companion, bringing down a mammoth for the first time is an awesome feeling. And for those who aren't keen on killing the magnificent beasts, two words: rideable mammoths.
  • Three words: Tamable Badger.
  • What, nothing about the rideable BEARS AND SABERTOOTHED TIGERS?!
  • There's something to be said about the mission where you confront Batari, as well. Takkar goes into the Izila homeland, and after rescuing several captive Wenja, they help him break into Batari's Temple. Takkar, wearing the Mask of Krati, marches into the Temple, and every single Izila you seen runs in terror from you, believing you to be Krati Himself. They offer no resistance whatsoever, and you can slaughter every single one of them if you want.
  • Beforehand, there's the mission where you rescue Dah from Wenja who want to kill him after he is freed from captivity after Takkar captures him. Of course, the Wenja aren't happy about this and want to try and execute Dah. Even accusing Takkar of being an Udam sympathizer. Well, Takkar isn't having any of it.
    Wenja: "You save Udam?!"
    Takkar: "Who speaks?!"
*Takkar picks up Dah to his feet*
Takkar: "I bring Dah to Wenja. He gives rot bane. Show Wenja how to be strong. Dah dies when I say he dies. Today I say he lives."
  • The Vision of Fire, where you play as Krati, has greatly increased health and unlimited arrows while the world slowly ends around you and an overly enormous eclipse happens above you. Also, your arrows now summon meteors wherever they hit, nailing five kills in a row leads to a triple-arrow shot that summons three meteors, and it culminates with you repeatedly using the triple meteor arrows TO BLOW UP THE MOON.
  • Getting to finally kill Batari, after all the atrocities she's carried out upon the Wenja, by shoving her head-first into her own fire pit.
    • Also, the music playing when you storm the Izila temple and confront Batari is Fever Ray's "The Wolf", a song initially written for Red Riding Hood.
  • An Offscreen Moment of Awesome for Urki. When you visit him for his second Fetch Quest, an Udam has attacked him in his tent. Urki's response? Grab a Boulder Bludgeon and hammer that Udam to death with it. He even NoSells a spear jammed in his stomach in the process!
  • Minor Fridge moment of awesome, but at one point you can come across the skeleton of a Blood Dragon. This has awesome implications for the prehistoric world of Far Cry Primal.
  • The Stinger, which has awesome implications: We see Ull's daughter standing in a cave, thrusting her hands forwards and shouting/growling a lot, almost as though mimicking Takkar's beast-mastering. And then we see what animal she's using such tactics on. What is it, you ask? A. FLIPPING. CAVE BEAR. And then, after a few seconds of roaring and rearing, that cave bear walks towards Ull's daughter and lets her stroke its head. Ull's daughter: Little Miss Badass.
