Awesome / Evil Dead 2

• Crossing with Nightmare Fuel, Ash getting the upper hand against his demonically possessed hand, stabbing himself through it and pinning it to the floor before it can reach a butcher knife to kill him with. Then reaching for his trusty chainsaw and chopping the demonic hand off as he screams and his own blood sprays on his face.
  Ash: "Uh huh. That's right. Who's laughing now? WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?!"
• Ash seemingly running away like a Dirty Coward and being called such by Annie, before returning with an ax to charge and chop the Deadite Ed to pieces before it can free the Deadite Henrietta from the cellar. Complete with Ash going full Screaming Warrior as he charged and There Is No Kill Like Overkill.
• Ash with enough Heroic Willpower to free himself from evil's grasp TWICE.
• The sequence where Ash is prepping for the battle with Henrietta, getting both his chainsaw arm and sawed-off shotgun ready before uttering the line "Groovy", deserves special mention, since that was the exact moment the Ash we all knew and loved was born. Even decades later, the moment still elicits cheers from any crowd.
• Ash climbing out of the cellar as the flying Deadite Henrietta is terrorizing Annie, complete with an epic theme song and whistling at it to get its attention off her.
  Ash: "Let's go!"
• Ash punching the Deadite Henrietta in the face multiple times, before swiping off its limbs and head with the chainsaw.
• "I'll swallow your soul!" "Swallow this." [Shotgun blast].
• Ash jamming his chainsaw into the eye socket of the massive demon attacking the house.
• Annie finishing the spell to defeat the demon despite knowing that her injury is fatal. She literally gave her life to save the world.
• Ash taking down the flying Deadite at the end, blowing its head off with the Boomstick while all the Knights are scrambling fearfully to flee it.
• The soundtrack by Joseph LoDuca. Specifically the first track, "Behemoth".
