Awesome / Dusty Rhodes

• His "Hard Times" promo is unquestionably one of the greatest promos of all time. It's less than four minutes long and yet it still works so damn well. As noted on WCW's awesome moments page, "he compares the problems of mass unemployment to his injury and makes you believe in what he is saying." Plus, according to Dusty, it was completely unscripted! ^note Of course, being "Unscripted" was the norm until the modern Vince McMahon/creative team era.
  Dusty: AND HARD TIMES IS WHEN A MAN'S BEEN WORKING THE SAME JOB FOR THIRTY YEARS—THIRTY YEARS!—THEY GIVE HIM A WATCH, THEY KICK HIM IN THE BUTT, AND THEY SAY, "HEY, A COMPUTER TOOK YOUR PLACE, DADDY!" That's hard times!
• His proposal to the Authority to let Dustin fight for his career against the opponent of their choice. He would lose, but he'd still keep trying and eventually reunite the Rhodes brothers once again.
• Dusty was with his sons at ringside during their match against the Shield at Battleground 2013. At one point, the Hounds of Justice attempted to beat Dusty but the American Dream unhooked his belt, ready to fight side-by-side with his sons, although this did not end up happening. He does show that he still got it by giving Dean Ambrose a Bionic Elbow and whipping him with his belt later in the match when the latter attempted to interfere.
• Telling Cody Rhodes aka Stardust to stop his Stardust gimmick and go back to being Cody Rhodes. Knowing how hard he was on Dustin, this was an awesome angle for the Rhodes family storyline. It would also be his last major involvement in any storytelling in WWE as he would die in June 2015, just 6 months after Stardust went crazy.
• Dusty got a posthumous CMOA in NXT, where he personally mentored most of the roster. They dedicated an entire tournament in his honor, called the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The winning team (Finn Balor and Samoa Joe) was awarded a giant trophy presented by Cody Rhodes and Goldust, Dusty's real-life sons. What's more, the ceremony didn't have any cheap swerve or heel turn or broken trophy to advance an angle. It was just a classy, respectful moment that the American Dream would've been proud of.
• Cody's story about Dusty and Blackjack Mulligan LITERALLY STOPPING A WAR. This is probably his Moment of Awesome.
