Awesome / Dragons' Den

  • The Canadian version featured Lars, aged 12, and Caleb, aged 10, presenting how they would re-innovate hot chocolate. You would expect them to not be taken seriously, right? Nope; observe how they eloquently present their project and calmly and clearly answer every question the Dragons asked them. Doubles as a Heartwarming Moment, since Jim accepts their offer of $50,000 and 75% ownership.
  • First pitch of the UK version's eleventh series had all five dragons competing to invest.
  • Bruce McBirney's Cure-All Water. An obvious scam, which the dragons wasted no time in calling what it was. Bruce grew angry and defensive, leading several of the dragons to tear him apart.
    • Watch the full pitch here.
  • Any time the Sharks (or whatever animal) go all-in and all want to invest in the business and especially if they give the amount and percentage originally asked, or better. Bonus points if they can get more than one shark investing and extra points if they manage to get all five investing.
  • Anytime the catch-ups on the Australian version appeared-every single one of them had the entrepreneurs businesses going further and in more ways than planned. Key example is the Sonsee line of hosiery for plus-size women: not only was she able to get her product sold in Myer and Autograph (plus-size line of clothing stores), but she also expanded into bodysuits, slips and bike shorts.
  • The Australian version featured a 13-year-old girl pitching her line of tween makeup and skincare products. She was very well-spoken throughout, came extremely prepared with her reports on the financials and how the products worked (also why they worked) and was able to answer every question the Sharks threw at her. While she didn't get any offers (all of the Sharks openly admitted it was due to her age), she did get some offers of mentorship from the two female Sharks.
  • In general, some of the products are so ahead of their time, that even if they don't get the deal, it's a CMOA that they were able to make such a device. Examples include: Zomm, Omni, and Coolbox.
  • In 2013, a man named Jamie Siminoff presented a product called DoorBot to the Sharks. It was a camera you would install in place of your doorbell. The Sharks weren't too impressed and Jamie left without a deal. Five years later, DoorBot, now rebranded to Ring, would be sold to Amazon for over a billion dollars...but the real moment of awesome is when Jamie returned to the show...as a guest shark.
  • Reggae Reggae Sauce on Dragons' Den not only provided a Moment of Awesome for the show itself but went on to become a successful product in its own right.
