BEWARE! SPOILERS ARE UNMARKED!!

  • Darth Vader repeatedly gets to show off how powerful he is. To wit:
    • He mows down the Trade Federation droids, thus saving Padme and company.
    • He utterly stomps Darth Maul without using his lightsaber.
    • He brutally kills Sebulba when the latter tries to kill Anakin after losing a podrace to the boy.
    • After arriving on Coruscant, he repeatedly trolls Darth Sidious, with the latter being unable to retaliate without blowing his cover.
    • His (fake) attack on the Jedi Temple is truly a sight to behold. Even Sidious is impressed (and more than a little envious).
  • Darth Plagueis vs. Darth Sidious:
    • Sidious kicks things off by trying to backstab his mentor, but it turns out to be an illusion.
    • Both Sith Lords engage in Jar'kai.
    • Sidious uses the force to construct an extra lightsaber in a matter of seconds.
    • Deciding to retreat, Sidious summons a group of armed droids to attack Plagueis and cover his escape. Plagueis decimates them and stops his wayward apprentice in his tracks.
    • In the end, Plagueis traps Sidious in an illusion and makes him question whether or not their entire battle even took place.
  • Sidious vs the Jedi Council, easily dominating most of them despite being heavily outnumbered. And then laying a trap that cuts the group in half.
    • Yoda using Battle Meditation to coordinate the Jedi during most of the fight, catching Sidious off guard.
  • When a dying Sidious unleashes a Force Storm to destroy the Jedi and Coruscant, Vader uses his sheer hate for the man to power through it, overpowering Sidious and forcing close the tear in reality fueling the attack.
    • Yoda holding back the same Force Storm to buy time for Vader to make his push.
    • Then Darth Maul suddenly appears and deals a final strike to Sidious, killing him.
  • With The Reveal in Chapter 28 being that Boba Fett is Vader's mystery tagalong from the future, the continued survival of the Republic and the Jedi essentially rests in the hands of a Sith Lord and a Mandalorian, who both represent what are arguably the Jedi's most ancient enemies.
  • Vader singlehandedly tearing apart the Federation droids protecting the palace. At one point, facing concentrated fire from dozens of them and several AATs, he freezes the blaster bolts in midair and then sends them back.
  • When Gunray has Padme's group cornered and is about to finish them off, Vader suddenly appears, Force-choking Gunray while effortlessly crushing all the droids. Then he builds a bridge out of rubble in order to ascend to the balcony Gunray was on.
  • Padme intimidating Gunray, firing several shots in his direction until one hits his leg.
    • Rune Haako switching sides to shut down the rest of the droids in the city, before killing Gunray himself.
  • During the battle over Naboo, the anti-Federationist managed to take down two of the three control ships, but exhausted their resources and, thanks to Gunray's paranoia the third was taken over by the droids when the organic crew tried to surrender. It's only a matter of time before the droids on the ground overwhelm the Naboos and retake Theed in full... Then the ship explodes, as per Vader's arrangement.
  • The Reveal in Chapter 38 blows the previous one out of the water — it wasn't just Vader and Fett sent back, but all of Death Squadron. And one of the Star Destroyers was the ship that blew up the final droid control ship, so fast nobody even managed to register it.
  • Plagueis sneaking aboard Vader's Star Destroyer by casting such a complex illusion of his ship being an Imperial one and him being unseen that it not only effects those who see him in person, but even those watching over security feeds.
  • Vader explaining his master plan — let the Republic collapse under its own corruption, without any Sith manipulation, in order to disillusion everyone from the ideal of the Republic, thereby curtailing most of the support for anything like the Rebel Alliance when Vader eventually steps in to create the Empire on his terms.
