Chapter 1
- When a group of police officers attempts to recapture Hilda, Rio shows up and warns them not to mess with him. He surprises them by breaking their Mana shield and taking them down within 5 seconds.
Chapter 2
- Hilda attacked Rio with a broken water glass while naked until Rio managed to grab her and put her in a chokehold to calm her down.
- Hilda throws a mug at Rio, but he dodges it after explaining the current situation and reading her file. When she refuses to let him check her injuries, Rio says that he's willing to knock her out if it means keeping her alive and safe.
- Dark appears at the site where Hilda was attacked, corrects Schwartz on what happened, and tells him about rogue human involvement.
Chapter 3
- Hilda attempts to run off and save Ange, only for Rio to hold her back. When an attempt at seducing him doesn't work, Hilda drives her knee into his crotch before knocking him out with a fireplace poker.
Chapter 4
- Rio manages to escape the cabin when Dark and the police appear, and tricks them into triggering the cabin's self-destruct boobytrap.
- Hilda makes an escape into the forest but is surrounded by the cops, and they get distracted by the explosion. She managed to knock down one of them and grab the gun, which made a run until she got caught.
- Schwartz threatens his fellow officers when they attempt to rape Hilda, saying not even a Norma deserves that.
- Rio appears as he throws a flashbang to stun them; throws a knife into Schwartz's arm to drop his gun and shoots two officers in the throat to save Hilda. He then threatens Schwartz to forget what he saw before knocking him out, sparing him in gratitude for how Schwartz tried to help Hilda.
- Hilda points a gun at Rio as she insists on going to the Misurugi and saving Ange, but Rio refuses as his mission is to protect her. Despite her threat, Rio is not intimidated and instead moves in.
- When Dark appears, Rio challenges him to protect Hilda. However Dark blocks and counter every attack that Rio throws at him especially since Rio's M-Jammer give him limited Mana while Dark has unlimited reserves. Dark is just about to kill Rio until Hilda distracts him long enough for Rio to sneak in a finishing blow.
Chapter 6
- Everyone in this chapter had their own badass moment.
- Ange shuts up the rabid lynch mob by singing her mother's song all the way to the gallows. Then after her escape, Ange calls out her siblings' and the other humans as foul beasts and throws a shuriken at Julio's face.
- As Ange falls through the gallow trap doors, Tusk races in on his skyhook, throwing a shuriken at the rope to cut her free.
- Rio and Hilda jump the crowd on his Landrunner to provide cover for Ange to escape. Rio shields Hilda with his Mana while she provides cover. Just before Rio escapes, he gives "an obscene gesture" right in Julio's face.
- Momoka uses a mana shield to protect Ange and Tusk.
- Vulture provides cover fire from the treetops.
- Spider hacks into the police mana network and sends them crashing into each other.
- Rhino uses his mana to cloak himself and smash a couple of cop cars.
- Kamaitachi displays his swordsman skills on the castle guards.
- Kat punches and shoots at every guard in her sector, all while breaking their mana. When encountering Ange's former classmates, she spooks one into fainting and wetting herself.
Chapter 7
- Ange continues to be obstinate even as they're being evacuated until Hilda tells her to shut up and get in the Skyhook's trailer.
- Tusk stops Hilda from interfering when the Wild Pack beats up Rio for interfering in Ange's rescue.
- Rio is about to fight Rhino after being told Ange and Hilda will be returned to Arzenal until they choose to go back.
Chapter 8
- Ange and Hilda end their past rivalry and join forces to tear the world apart. They suggest they should ask Tusk, Rio, and The Network for help and gather several normas to rebel against the world.
- Members of the Networks had highjack a mana transport and kidnapped Colonel Ackerman, then replaced them with Rio disguised as Captain Joseph Algren.
Chapter 9
- Rio ordered Jill to carry his bag and threatened her if she didn't carry out the order.
- Mei was impressed at Rio's acting performance when he told her that she managed the entire Armorer Corps for Norma and was lucky that none of her crew attacked him.
Chapter 10
- Rio held his own against Jill in the debate when they were talking about the First Libertus.
Chapter 11
- In their private conversation, Rio manages to convince Ange to eat a proper meal after demanding an answer. Rio refuses to give Ange the answer she needs as part of an agreement with Jill. Ange attacked Rio but grabbed her wrist and subdued her on the table, explaining the current situation. Regardless of her status as a Norma, Rio told her that she and her family were responsible for everything that happened while showing a photo of the Mother of the Norma. Rio even questions and tears Ange's plans of tearing the world apart.
- Rio also questions Hilda as she is part of Ange's plans.
Chapter 12
- Jasmine calls out on Jill for being cold and uncaring over Rio's mixture of rage and grief over Sarah's death.
- Jasmine manages to find the video message with the help of her dog, Vulcan.
- Hilda sings her mother's song out loud for everyone to listen, even Chris and Rosalie can't believe it.
Chapter 13
- Rio got the gall to stand up to Jill and warn her that he'd stop her if she used Libertus for her personal agenda.
- When dragons attack Arzenal, Rio is fully prepared with weapons and ammunition in case this happens. So was Arzenal.
- Ange distracts a dragon away from Hilda and Momoka as she looks for a weapon until she gets tripped and knocked out by Saila, who steals her ring.
Chapter 14
- Everyone in the first squad held their own against the Dragons, while Vivian fought against one of the enemy Paramails.
- Ange jumps out of Hilda's Para-mail and free-falling towards Villkiss, whom Salia pilots as she tosses her out and is grabbed by Ersha.
- Jasmine was able to shoot off multiple dragons and pick a fight with an enemy Para-mail with her sniper rifle. She was about to meet her end until Rio saved her.
- Rio fights Kaname Hekiryugo to protect everyone in the hangar using a combination of assault weapons, explosives, and his Mana without having a Para-mail of his own.
- When Hilda heard the news that Rio was facing an enemy Para-mail, she went back to the hangar while killing a swarm of dragons that blocked her path.
- Ange unlocks the Villkiss golden form with her song and fires the same move as Sala's Para-mail.
- In his last stand, Rio is heavily injured, his Mana energy drained, and barely able to stand yet he refuses to quit despite Kaname's insistence that he can't win:Kaname: Why are you doing this?Rio: Why do you think? You attacked us! You really think I'm going to stand by and not do anything about it?Kaname: Even though you can't win? You have no weapons that can harm Hekiryugo. Your power is depleted. And you can barely stand. Why would you throw away your life like that? Especially for ones that your people have enslaved?"Rio: (holding out Sarah's bracelet) You see this? This was my friend's. One of your monsters killed her.Kaname: So you seek revenge? How pitiful. To throw away your life for such petty reasons.
Chapter 16
- Rio calls out on Ange for her refusal to join Libertus. Ange calls Rio out for never understanding Hilda's emotions, why she returned to Arzenal, and never telling her about his consequences.
- Hilda had told Ange that if she disobeyed her orders, she'd put her right back in confinement.
- As Rio is held at gunpoint by Salia, He discreetly uses the Light of Mana to grab a bottle of disinfectant powder, which he chucks at her face to make her sneeze. He then seizes the chance to disarm her and pin her down before running away.
