Awesome / Crash Team Rumble

  • Just the fact that characters like N. Brio, Female N. Tropy, Ripper Roo and N. Gin can finally get to be played on-foot in the traditional Crash platforming style, each with their own unique movesets, speaks volumes to players who have only dreamed of playing these characters in such a fashion.
  • Thought the kart customization in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled was crazy? Well, Rumble takes character customization to a whole new level.
    • In addition to having their own unique skins, the game takes a page out of Team Fortress 2's book and allows almost every character in the game to wear all sorts of unique hats and backpacksnote  to truly stand out.
    • Plus, if a character has some sort of accessory on handnote , it can be customizable with several different variations and designs as well! Sometimes even matching a certain skin for that character.
  • Some of the epic relic stations and their powers also qualify:
    • Aku Aku's invincibility in Tar Valley. Once activated after depositing 30 relics into the level's epic relic station, your entire team becomes invincible. From there, your team can break open Aku Aku crates that appear to increase their mobility and strength. Grab three Aku Aku masks? You become completely invincible, moving at the speed of light and can wail on your opponents, especially those who keep giving you trouble at your team's bank.
    • Uka Uka in Tiki Towers. Once activated, Uka Uka shows up and grants your team fireball shields which damage opponents who touch them, and fireballs rain down from the sky all around the map wherever your teammates go.
    • The Spirit Guardians in N. Sanity Caverns. Once activated, you and your teammates become massive, gaining a massive (but temporary) boost in health and knockback resistance. In addition, some characters movesnote  become a lot harder to dodge due to how much more massive they have gotten.
