- Mark Mothersbaugh and Josh Mancell's soundtrack in this game are less Nightmare Fuel-ish, bringing up some great pieces such as the stream level and the rocket pack
level music.- "Rock It"s level music would go on to become one of the most iconic pieces of the entire series' soundtrack; it's commonly referred to as the favorite of many fans, and has the honor of the single most amount of remixes of any of the Crash level tracks.
- Coco, despite often relegated to an NPC and would get some action in the third adventure, has some understated Awesome Moments. She systematically destroys Cortex's plan herself by revealing his plan to make a super sized Cortex Vortex to Crash.
- The 100% ending, where Crash, Coco, and N. Brio use the latter's laser gun powered by all the gems to destroy the Cortex Vortex in a flurry of explosions.
